Again, I have to give a shout out to Jonathan (Michael Jackson), for inspiring me to do another video on a diesel engine.

I’m probably going to have to redo this video because I had issues with the exhaust smoke.

Magnificent trains 🚂🚂🚂🚂🚂🚂🚂
@@elijahglasser1421 thank you
@TrainTalks67 your welcome
I can only dream of owning one of these beasts
❤❤
Who’s the mfg of the Mohawk locomtoive
@Aidendafirefighter MTH
My idea Christmas tree 🎄 train 🚂.
Cool 😎👍
To me it looks like it has synchronized puffing smoke when going slow but not when stopped or going fast
I hope scale trains remakes these when they restore that Mohawk
I have the silver link. I have limited the throttle on my A4's by moving the link to the steam valve out a bit. Can run mine as an engine only and don't have to worry about a run away train.

Absolutely 💯 amazing and beautiful. I love trains. I really like how the smoke effect just comes out of the engine. Highly detailed and thank you so very much
👍 !! ! 💙💙💙
What a wonderful smoke unit! If you do not mind, which type of unit is it?
TRS trains
Where is the steam coming from at the end of the train?
I didn’t know that the steam generator did that
@@alpha863leader2 those are steam generator cars by Rapido
DC all the way!!! ..... DCC is overrated 😖
I wish I had one, it’s a little hard to find a reasonable price for one nowadays
I have two. One is DCC and the other DC. I am selling the DCC for $250.
How do you like this model? Would you recommend getting it? I plan on buying one too, but I can’t decide between the Rivarrosi or Trix.
Yes. Much better than the Rivarossi. I had a Rivarossi and I sold it. Trix has excellent quality and the weight is more than any other manufacturer so it really pulls awesome even without traction tires. I just use the steel wheels option it came with.
I have a bigboy like yours. I am using a mrc tech 2 transformer. When I move the control know to 25. Nothing happens. I get up to 50 and wait for front lights to come on. It creeps for 25 feet pulling 10 volts but slowly creeping still I get it up to 80 and it gets going medium speed. I can't figure out why it takes so long to get it moving. I also had it pull 11 cars and it had a lot of wheel slippage. The consist cars weigh 5 ops each. Can you help me figure out this problem?? Thank Peter
From what I have heard this is normal for the mrc. In terms of wheel slippage i had the same problem until i changed over to the traction tires with rubber and track cleaning is so important because the smoke oil settles on the rails. Many people don’t run their smoke units because they want to keep their rails clean. I have started to clean my rails daily.
you have so many god damn locomotives jeez
hey. you are a brave man... that is a $1000 locomotive running at a very fast speed... very likely to come off the track and cause damage. I know because I had that problem and my Papyrus sits in its box with a cracked cab, bent drive rods and missing left hand front steps.
@@premikyam2726 I’m going to run another Papyrus I have shortly at a lower speed. Please take a look when I upload later today.
Can this model operate well through 18 inch radius curves without any trouble? And how satisfied are you with its pulling power? Is it a strong puller? Would you recommend it?
Yes. It operates well and can pull many coaches. I am happy with it and I do recommend it.
Now if only you could do the starting and stopping a little more gently like like the Prototype kind of slow on the start and then speed up
I'm loving the model of the 4449 though and the big boy
The quillable whistle and the steam from the whistle are such great features!
Great video
Thanks!
Were did you get the engines they are really cool no exspensive dcc
@@kensbackshop6399 I have some DCC but you are correct they are expensive
cool loco!
I like the colors on that unit!
That is awesome,,,,no dcc
You need to do a full collection/information video on all your models man
mohawk heaven
You have the most beautiful Steam trains ever I only have 4449 and ATSF 3764
Does the S2 have a physical switch like the new GS4 to turn off the smoke? Or do you have to change the CVs?
I think they all have a switch.
But you can also shut it off using F8
Good Job. 👍🏼
Thanks!
Very good video
Thank you!

I can't believe the papyrus is hauling so many coaches...
I've never seen a Hornby live steamer run sooo well! Well done. We always start with boiling water so it starts up quicker!
You have an amazing amount of very large steam locomotives!!! Like 60 ish?
