fuck, what a great billing. During their best years too for both bands. superb albums, Number of the Beast and Black Out.
I was there. First concert.
Was there with my cousins Gary and Rog!!!
I saw this tour two weeks earlier in Chicago
Okay, so I was told that a 645E (non-turbocharged variant of the 645 prime mover) sounded very similar to a 567? Sure it does, but I can definitely hear something is different
Four thousand horses just looking for any excuse to run
AAAhhhh .... When ROCK AND ROLL WAS ROCK AND ROLL!!!!!!!!!
It is been said that Maiden were having problems with Clive on this tour. But every recording I hear from this tour Maiden sound amazing. Can’t hear every show I suppose
Kmet 94.7 🤘🤘🤘🤘whoya
I was there when I was 15 years old 🎸 the food fight was awesome 👍 maiden & scorpions ruled it 💯💯💯 to me the scorpions stole the show 💯
Food : ketchup and mustard cups then whole containers…. Down to the field…😂 Then infield dirt cup back at the peeps in the lower and upper decks… it was the craziest thing I’ve ever seen live… and what a show… loverboy was way better than I expected… and yeah… maiden and scorps were themselves… 🤘
Bro didn't even prime the fuel
didn't need it
Good quality ❤
Can't believe this concert is actually posted here on yt! I was there with a small group of friends, half who were there to see Loverboy and Foreigner and half were there to see IM and Scorps. I SOOO wanted to leave after IM & Scorps but had to stay with the group for my ride. This was the show that had a huge gap between stage setups and people got so restless and bored that they started a giant food & dirt war. We were in the middle terrace around 1st base and I vividly recall someone running up the stairs to the concessions stand and grabbed the giant barrel of mustard from the condiment station, ran with it down the stairs and chucked it over the edge! Fans on the field were filling empty drink cups with the dirt from the infield and hurling them up at us. Saw a guy duck at the last second and some poor girl got a facefull of dirt. This whole battle raged for maybe a half hour or more. Wild times. Incredible show.
Same year I discovered Maiden as a 12yr old visiting relatives in Italy. To think it was in my back yard here in SoCal.
My first concert ever
It was 42 years ago, in 82 I was twelve years old, I was in Brazil jaking off, at that time it was difficult to listen to music from abroad, I went to meet Iron in 83.
Maiden on the Beast tour was absolute ace. Actually just got an amazing bootleg of that tour in from Japan today with the complete Barcelona 82 show. The band barely sounded more aggressive and ferocious with Dickinson than on this tour!
Why do I think this got cut short because of that incoming missile? 😂
Not this time, youtube shorts only does 15 or 60 seconds
Jester is smoking crack. That was NOT 3 o'clock high
He must've been directionally challenged
What game is this
DCS

Digital combat simulator
Metal gods!!! I saw them in Oakland in 1982 and hearing this brought me back. Such an electrifying performance!!
Man i like his guy He does that little victory toot toot at the end
I was there! 15 years old. What a fucking great show!
I was there selling Thai Sticks in the parking lot.
cool. i did not know #31 was still around. used to see it around creve couer/pekin but that's been years ago. 1 of 2 built.
Thank you 🥱💤
Justbplaying maden , killer_e back yard paries
I wasn't born until a year after this show but DAMN I wish i could have been there! Been a Maiden fan for probably 25 years now and really wish i could have seen them with Clive Burr !! Such an amazing drummer!
Yep, I was there too. FOOD FIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!!
I was 16 and scalping tickets for $25.00 each I would buy them for $20 from some people selling them on the freeway off ramp and I was on roller skates, skating thru the parking lot selling them for $25.00ea p.s. Gotta love “Dolphin shorts” I saw more “Kitties” & “Titties” that day then any 16yr old shouldn’t been allowed too 😂
True lol
I've always loved the standard cab SD70s.
I was there
This is gold.
Awesome 🤟💯✨🔥
I was there under the banner.. my first outdoor jam ,I was lucky to be under , in the shade and covered when the food fight broke out, I only had to catch crap coming at me, nothing was being thrown above or behind me. Maiden took the show, then the Scorps, the lineup was totally reversed. Then we would have seen more of the real headliner. Eddie live after death.
I was there all bands were Awesome!!🤘🤘🤘
My first concert. As the Scorpions I came from "West" Germany to the US for the first time
Seems unlikely a European would go to their first concert in the US, and at a time when such long distance travel wasn't common or easy.
This sounds great
Can you share the download link for this bootleg please?
Hello from over near Springfield - thanks for being out at 1AM to record this great audio!
I was there. my first concert. I wound up becoming an Iron Maiden fan from then on. Since it was my first exposure to Maiden, I remember " run to the hills " and "# of the beast" Scorpions rocked "The Zoo" and "Blackout", Loverboy rocked out "Take me to the top" and Foreigner had tons of hits, but the big inflatable juke box for "juke box hero" was epic. I remember the cool visors they gave free to everyone, and the concert shirt. I wore mine out. That was the beginning of the mighty 80's metal. The next year, Maiden played with Saxon and Fastway. Boom!
Having you headphones or earphones at max volume sounds sick
Oh my fucking God!!! 1982, the middle of summer in Southern California! Iron Maiden, Scorpions, Loverboy, and Foreigner. Such a great concert! Maiden and Scoprions really tore this show apart. Loverboy and Foreigner were ok, but the majority of the crowd was there for the real rock bands, Maiden and Scorps! I sat in the stands above with a great vantage point of the stage with my date. We painted a couple of queen-sized sheets for a banner contest. We painted the 'Run To Hills' single artwork depicting Eddie battling a devil on a hilltop and Scoprions 'Lovedrive' album cover depicting the scorpion and their logo beneath...we sat in the front row of our section to hang the banners over the railing. We put small sandbags at the bottom to keep the banners from flying around. We won 2 pairs of tickets to the next Van Halen concert! Great seats on the side of the stage...Wish we still had those banners...lost touch with my date after a while. Karen Kennedy, if you're out there? Thanks for the memories!
i was there... fell asleep during lover boy .... Maiden and Scorps had the upper levels shaking
Did ya catch any of the food fight? And if my memory serves me correct the loudest band was Lover Boy, hahaha!!
I was on that same side of stage along rail of first level seats. Didn't even stick around for Loverboy or Foreigner.
awesome snag dude
I was 18 years old and me and my friend started drinking a little too early for the Summer Strut at Anaheim stadium in 82. Good times!
Where did you find this audio clip ? Do you have more ? - The Scorpions RULED That day !!
I was 19 yrs old - went with my girlfriend and a small group of Hard Rocker Partiers - EPIC Day and NIght !
Granted it’s a “bootleg” of sorts, but Scorps is all guitars and vocals , no beats
Best idle sound ever I heard
