Thank you for taking the time to post this. My 1961 KWM-2 has the same center and red line orientation. Because the red line is not centered, you can move the red line to center, and using the set screw on the VFO shaft, rotate the dial frequency to center, then tighten set screws. Re-check calibration afterwards.73

so was your temp the same on both sides or was one side hot and one side cold cuz that is whats wrong with mine. I got freezing cold on the passenger side and hella hot on the driver side... I am asking cuz i found one other video that fixed that problem on a 05 4runner with my same problem only opposite so it was cold at all times on the driver side they said that the bar that moves the door flap was broken and the heat was stuck closed... I dont think that is my issue because well my heat works so if the bar was broke im assuming the heat would not... the door is stuck open on the heat and I am wondering if replacing that actuator on the passenger side will fix my issue or if im screwed because the flap is broken.

my 2011 chevy camaro SS doesn't start after refueling. Doesn't matter full tank or not . Could it be on of the EVAP components ?

Thanks for posting your idea. I used it today, successfully. The only difficulties I had was drilling the hole, and then presenting the screw to the mounting bracket. I did not have a small drill to use, and had the drill the hole from a sharp angle, which would not bite into the plastic. So, I used a miniature dremel to drill a pilot hole for the larger drill to grip. The other issue was presenting the screw to the mounting hole, so I used some super glue to hold it to the driver so I could be passed through the hole and locate into the bracked. I used a camera scope to view the location, close up.

My 2004 4Runner was blowing air but not heat, this is what i did i hit the lower actuator gently with a screw driver, and applied little amount of grease with a wood stick in the arms where the mechanism moves. The actuator back to work again. Hope this help.

Check your actuator heater valve cable. Mine was corroded and would not move. It caused my heater actuator motor armature to snap off. Replaced cable and actuator. Problem was the cable...just saying.

Thanks for this video. I didn't have to drill the hole. I too was able to remove the top and front screws of the metal bracket, bend it to the right enough to remove the screws on the backside of the actuator with a stubby screwdriver. After replacing the actuator.....works perfectly now.

Trying to verify this is what I need to replace. My issues: when changing the temperature there is no in between temps. All hot or cool (not cold). AC will keep up until it is warmer than 85F out (had the system checked and it's fully charged). Hear a clicking noise coming from the actuator. Think this is the issue or any other suggestions? I bought a clean pair of Tex scopes off a seller on Ebay, a 2213A and a 2215A for 90 bucks, plus S/H, for parts and not working... The 13A was in perfect working condition, the 15A had a horizontal problem that turned out to be an easy fix, a connector off the right horizontal deflection plate connection. Works perfectly on both channels.

Buen video, pero observo una falla en el procedimiento de carga del equipo. Segun manual de Collins, dice que primero hay que realizar la precarga (TUNE) verificando la corriente de placa con el selector de medidor en PLATE, se esaforma nos aseguramos que la corriente de GRILLA sea la correspondiente, lo cual es el paso siguiente a verificar, antes de pasar el selector a LOOK para hacer la emision y ajustar a maxima potencia. En este video, se muestra estos pasos al reves, donde primero verifica la corriente en GRILLA y luego pasa a verificar y controlar la corriente de PLATE. Saludos!!

I was able to leave the back screw in on the metal bracket. Take the two front screws out. Bend the bracket over to the right. Then you can get the three screws out of the backside with a stubby screwdriver.

Our main MARS contact was in Stuart, Florida, where they patched us into land lines for overseas phone calls. We also had several of these radios in the command post for communications with our C-130s. The MARS call sign we had was AGA7RM.
