Absolutely agree. The chicks are very delicate and precious. The proper understanding of animal husbandry is very important. Observing others, some jump in starting with 1000 chicks with no experience, so they lose money , lose the chicks and fail their business. One should start small, learn everything there is to know about the business (biosecurity, taking care of the chicks, the diseases, the food, the plants, the environment, vaccine, fresh air, caring for the chicks, caring for eggs, etc.,); Go to someone established and learn from them for one year so you can learn properly. With this, you will raise very healthy birds, no disease hence you will have continuous and repeat customers lined up to purchase your chicken and eggs, plus manure. Very sage and wonderful advice from this young lady. Patience and perseverance. Money will come in time WITH hard work and diligence. This is wonderful work ethic from this young woman and will ensure the chickens and eggs are healthy for human consumption thus repeat customers for perpetuity. May her business flourish.
