I'm not sure I have complete confidence in her interpretation of meaning... but this lecture is a useful collection of references.

I'm horrified by the usual adoption of a false parity between Israel and Palestinians, which is, of course, only applied to Israel (and never to Ukraine - of which you never once mention any criticism - or any other country). There is no "slaughter" in Gaza; there is the "dead baby strategy" of Hamas, which you enable. Whereas Jews are being targeted everywhere, as a consequence of the global media parroting Hamas propaganda as news, there is no comparable "frightening rise in Islamophobia". It seems even when Jews are slaughtered en masse, result of a planned slaughter (this one real) of civilians, including babies and the elderly, in the most gruesome and cruel way possible, to inflict terror and humiliation - even then you must erase their suffering, the archetypal evil that is Hamas (and global jihad, in your very streets), and present them as "oppressors". This parity, when it is not outright inversion of reality (Israel as the oppressor, Hamas and Palestinians as perennial victims, no matter the atrocities they commit), represents a complete and utter moral and intellectual failure. It invites - and, in the streets of Palestine, London, campuses in the US and Europe, celebrates - the unspeakable horror.

I think it can be proven in Jung's collective works and writings, that his position was that he gave equal value to both the casual world and the a casual world. since the symbol of the self includes both of these opposites. Jung, p. 514, Volume eight, Structure and Dynamics of the unconscious.

The sphere as the symbol of the self is a union of all opposites which include life and death. I will agree that the world wide Covid 19 pandemic was a way for the psyche to cause the individual to to become detached from externals which forces one to be philosophical and religions. There fear was too much of an external enemy. The Covid 19 virus came from bats in a Chinese cave and was not made in a laboratory. The Covid 19 Virus is part of the Corona Virus family which has been around for three hundred million years according to molecular clocks. It lived in bats for tens of millions of years and is zoonotic meaning that it jumped species into humans. Virus, Cordingley, 2017.

There is no connection between biochemistry, molecular biology, and the science of viruses and Jungian theory of archetypes. Viruses are based on an actual physics which is molecular and atomic chemistry. Not all viruses are round. Consequently, one cannot judge Jungian psychology and archetypal symbolism with the meaning of viruses or microbiology which is physics. Professor Pauli made this same mistake. He thought that quantum mechanics was a more universal and larger theory which encompassed Jung's psychology of archetypes. In Atom in Archetype, Jung corrected him by writing that we view everything through the psyche. There is no consciousness, or perception of our physical world unless it is through the mediation of the psyche. Physics and psychology are based on separate principles. Alchemy came before we had a knowledge of chemistry, and therefore psychological archetypes were unconsciously projected into matter. Turning the lead into gold was turning Saturn into the Sun. The Alchemist experienced the presence of pre-exsting ideas into physical matter. Jung, Psychology and Alchemy, pages 228 and 245. The sphere represents the infinite, the Apeiron, the unus mundus which is how synchronicity works through unconscious projection. ibid. Jungian psychology requires knowledge of symbolism which has nothing to do with the physical sciences or physical forces which are based on physics. It is true some archetypes can be projected onto physical processes, objects, ideas etc, but in no way can the principles of physics in any way be used to understand psychological, archetypal meaning. The Prometheus archetype represents physics and science. A system of principles of of ideas which are non material symbolism is a science of the psyche. We could call it an organized body of knowledge. Jung was not trying to re ensoul or re-enchant the cosmos. Jung made it very clear that the universe was never completely de souled or disenchanted, we only thought we disenchanted it with the Copernican revolution. The unconscious can never be exhausted so there are always unknowns which will be projected. Jung, The Practice of Psychotherapy, Pages 177, 178 and 191. Jung, Aion, volume nine C.W. p. 20 and other C.W. The universe is still enchanted according to Jungian theory and the transference is about the unconscious projection of archetypes which has nothing to do with quantum fields. One has to know the symbolism, the archetypal meaning of the ego, shadow, animus, anima and self otherwise one can't enter into or access the invisible psyche.

It’s a spirit, has little to do with some mysterious psychology trust me, drop it and leave it, most often it brings a spirit into your life and you have problems, big problems, ask any tribe that has knowledge still, ask any follower of Jesus what it’s about, ask any satanist what it’s about...... traps have cheese, when your curiosity is towing you along you’re in trouble, there is a benevolent path you can follow and I recommend you read wisdom of Solomon chapter 1 the first page and then perform it.... these archetypes are alive and not a story at all and not harmless at all either
