We did this just a few weeks ago and another way of doing it is just riding from Cromwell past the burger and coffee stop up to the first hill and then on top of this just turn around and bike back as we went on to Clyde and thought the scenery not really changing a lot thereafter so getting your transport sorted back from Clyde to Cromwell is a bit of a waste as the scenery does not change anymore beyond the first peak. Spoiler alert, I know....
