convince everyone you know to stop using it. It's hot trash. It's literally worse than reading a newspaper.
great video, im in bc too so its super helpful to see a chanel like this. keep it up fellas 🙌
That’s awesome! Really appreciate that!
1235 as the price minimum has saved me so much time
Solid info! Keep it up guys, love from Azores
That’s super cool! Thanks for watching!
Any good deals I've gotten were because the listing was filled with red flags, they just didn't know how to properly sell it.
I prefer the 2011 updated look lol, all i see is the first gen Odyssey with a shorter roof, still nice tho
Bros on the come up fs, editing was gass. Got that car for steal as well 😮💨😮💨
Thank you, really appreciate that!
For how much you got the crown ? my dream is to bring an R31 I hope is still underrated
Hello from New Zealand, I have a CL9 accord euro, how would u rate the springs in your wagon mate? Need to get rid of my monster truckness haha
Dude that’s awesome! I’m a big fan of the RSR springs they’re pretty stiff and they get you low but not to the point that you’re worried about scraping on everything. Good move for the price in my opinion, thanks for watching!
This is pretty good production for a channel with 150 subs. Keep it up, guys!
Thank you!
is this kind of car cheaper in Canada than the regular ones ?
They typically are quite a bit cheaper and they also tend to have much less mileage on them!
@@Backseetsthank you, where can I get in Ontario?
Would a front facing camera on the left mirror help with the left turn ?
Not a bad idea! I don’t find it to be enough of an issue to justify installing one but I don’t see why it wouldn’t work
Does the majesta share parts with anything?
How comfortable is the driver seat?
I wouldn’t say they’re quite as comfortable as the seats in something like a Toyota Crown but I have driven 10+ hour road trips in this car with no issue. They’re also quite bolstered so you don’t get thrown around much when cornering.
Bro i hope you blow up the production for this was simple and sweet! and very informative sick car!
Thank you! Really appreciate that!
Surprised you only get 10L/100km, my Crown Estate with the 1JZGTE averages about 10-12 mixed driving, around 9 highway
Wow that’s pretty good! Lowest I’ve ever had on the Accord was 7L/100km. I don’t usually do a lot of highway driving though so tends to hover around 10.
The blinker/wiper flip is JDM specific. If you buy a non-JDM car, it's not the case. Also, at restaurants you can simply get out and grab the food for takeaway.
Here in Philippines. Right Hand Drive is not allowed and illegal, all JDM imports cars and kei trucks and big trucks coming from Japan that enters in our shores are required to be converted to Left Hand Drive, thats why we have lot of JDM CARS in LHD, like Nissan R33, R34 skylines, Supras, Kei trucks, Kei vans, everything is in LHD. I have canadian and americans friends who amazed with that, convertions is very clean, just like came out from the factory.
That’s super interesting, how much would it typically cost to convert to LHD?
@@Backseets actually i dont know, we buy them had already converted to LHD, i used to owned a Mitsubishi DELICA 4x4 van that came from japan, when i bought it in 3rd party dealership, it is already in LHD,
I live in the UK and gas/petrol caps are on either side of the vehicle for right hand drive vehicles.
Depends on the manufacturer.
This also applies to driving a Left hand drive car in a right hand drive country. Especially the UK
Is buying the Soarer Z20 a good move right now?
Excellent video. How hard was it to get an insurance policy on a RHD? Was it pricey?
Thank you, really appreciate that! I pay $185 per month for my insurance here in BC. Would be the same for a LHD accord
@Backseets Thanks for sharing! And also very good comment about the stock turn lights and wipers being reversed. I found that out when driving in Australia (I'm from Ontario).
I'd love to import an rhd wrx either sti or just a regular wrx and STI convert it. Idk why I'd just love an rhd Wrx even though there's more cars I'd import if gave the chance, lol
Excellent video
Save some money locally is a good joke
yeah im from Poland. Not alot of pepole round here are even interesed in such cars, therefore there arent even that many import firms (a good majority of import cars are either from the states, germany or france). I recently looked online for the prices of skylines, and an automatic R34 GTR with mods (wich werent all shown on the pictures, so cant confirm quality) is over 42 grand. And i mean, sure its a skyline, but not to mention its litterally on the other side of the country. Yeah im not getting a JDM car here anytime soon lol
How about merging in yeild scene?
Oddly enough I actually find it easier to merge in that situation in a RHD car. When you’re shoulder checking over your left shoulder in a LHD car a lot of your vision is blocked by the b-pillar. In a RHD car the B-pillar isn’t really in a position that would create a blind spot from that angle and your vision is really only obstructed by the C-pillar, even then it’s pretty far away and takes up much less visual space at that distance.
For me living in Japan til prolly 2026/2027 I can only have one car here what would you recommend buying and importing when coming back to the states to resell it after importing it to maximize returns.
A Mitsubishi Evo VII or a Nissan Silvia S15 would be great options as they’d both become legal in the US right as you’re moving. They’re both quite sought after in Canada so I’d imagine it will be similar in the states when they become legal to import!
Well done guys / so good to see / very informative
It chimes in reverse?
It does! I believe all JDM cars do. It’s mostly to let the driver know they’re in reverse. Not usually audible from outside of the car unless the windows are down.
@Backseets ok cool because my friend had a DB8 integra SiR-G and his didn't do that ..gotta love these jdm cars
@@BackseetsI’m definitely disabling that if I get one.
when i saw the miata thumbnail my neurons activated and clicked instantly
Dude what a wonderful video and made super nicely. Can’t believe youre only at 120 subs. Def subscribed! Keep up the hard work and consistency and you’ll easily easily hit 100K in no time. Btw is it a hassle with parking garages etc solo? I’m mostly solo so I wonder how bad it is when it comes to stuff like that
Appreciate you! If it’s a parking garage that has a machine dispensing the ticket I find that I almost always have to get out and walk around but if I’m paying a parking attendant that’s friendly enough to reach over a little bit then I can usually make that work without having to get out.
looking into importing an s2k to the us even if USDM versions are readily available, hoping it’s not too bad of a process but I’ll be pulling the trigger soon
damn ! really liked the content , hope you get tons of subscribers soon!!
4:49 american muscle it is boys!!!!
Garbage american cars😂
Crack me up, you saying the Yen peaked at the time of making this video? 6 months later its at its most lowest its been in 40 years
I’m surprised Canada has RHD cars. Just out of curiosity, why do they import such cars when Canadians drive on the right side of the road?
A couple reasons, they tend to be cheaper than buying the same car in Canada. Also tend to have much lower mileage, and also allows us to own unique cars that can’t be bought in Canada!
You have the 15 year rule. You've had access to Evo 7s and 171 Crowns for the past 10 years. You have nothing to complain about
For sure! Very lucky
lol America is worst with the 25 year rule
Very informative guys, well done
Thank you! Really appreciate that!
Leave the passenger to fend for them selves😂
Sure bro I wanna ask about the whole process of importing, especially the auctions how do you get to that, brokers and websites included
We are exporting used Japanese cars overseas,, if you have any questions Feel free to ask me
shipping was my biggest hurdle. my DC5 type s was ordered in october. it’s only now supposed to leave japan at the end of this month and arrive in vancouver sometime in april. which means 6-7-8 months will have gone by before i drive the car. but as long as it shows up when all the snow melts, i’ll be a happy camper
How do you do the process of buying cars from Japan? Websites of auctions and brokers
I was looking at buying a Honda odyssey awd van because they look so different than the ones here in Canada but I changed my mind because of parts availability. I live in British Columbia but work in northern Alberta a lot and broken windshields are a thing, getting one for a JDM Odyssey would be,well, an odyssey in itself. 😊
Here in Philippines. Right Hand Drive is not allowed and all cars or trucks coming from Japan that enters the Philippines are required to be converted to Left Hand Drive
Only thing im scared of is sending money and getting scammed.
As long as you work with a importer who has a good reputation and lots of customers you’ll be totally fine. Velocity, B-Pro, and, JDM connection are all well known importers with solid reputations that import to the lower main land!
@@Backseets Thanks for the recommendation. Do you know how much the ocean importing cost? Or is that an included price for B-pro?
Great video, super informative. I’ve always been curious about this.
Thank you! Really appreciate that
then why they not switching the lane?
I drive a JDM Odyssey...can't find a g/f 😂
i dont have a car... or a girlfriend LOL
What car is that in the video
It’s a Honda Accord Wagon!
@@BackseetsI've never seen am Accord wagon and I want one now
They’re awesome! We’re planning to make a video all about it soon
@@Backseets please do
Looking to import a Toyota Century one day. Did you guys import through a company/broker, or do all the paperwork yourselves?
We used a company based in Alberta called JDM Connection, Will is the owner and does a fantastic job. He also has a contact in Japan to go check the cars for rust and mechanical issues.
@@Backseets Thank you. I'll add him to my list of importers to research. Having someone on the ground in Japan is definitely a huge plus
