i posted this comment in another video but i lowk think it’s better if i say ts here cause wtf is this video even trynna say besides glazing him😭ngl i think most ngas now get it confused and think that being open minded means liking anything. i do agree that some ngas don’t like shi js cause it’s different and that artists should be creative but ts was js not it personally for me and hella other fans that don’t like it js cause that’s not the music that made them fw jaydes, and ngas be making it seem like u obligated to fw it. yes some ngas js hating cause it’s a trend on tt but lowk both opinions about the album valid. u can support jaydes being creative and still not fw the album and you can’t expect to build a certain fanbase that enjoyed a certain type of music, change the entire style, then be suprised when people don’t fw it. not to say he’s obligated to keep on making the same music that the fans enjoy but the fans not obligated to like it either. it’s like playin drill at a opera performance and bein like “why nb fw it yall gotta be open minded”😭

And with due respect (rapids you have been my unreleased jaydes plug for more than two years) I have to disagree that ghetto Cupid is his best body of work. He has a scattered discography and I feel Ghetto Cupid disregarded the motion he had already created for his sound. Grunge is cool, but even just the mix of “yen” songs on your RUclips is just completely absent from his discography. Can’t help but feel a little sour about it all. I’m happy he’s making the music he wants to, but I feel like the sudden loss of his sound is a little sucky, especially when he has no intention it seems of releasing the endless songs we all go thru hell just to listen to cause they aren’t on streaming platforms.

Jaydes might genuinely be one of my favorite artists of all time, strictly for his 2021-2023 run man it makes me so sad seeing his sound swap so heavily into something I don’t fw as heavy. Songs like honey bourbon fell in luv and shit just have so much potential. Yuke is becoming my go to rn.

nah bro you're glazing, i'm sorry. invalidating other people's genuine opinions by just making a broad assumption that they're hating just to hate or to follow a trend is bs. jaydes new music is garbage, and the reason is because the rock music alt style he's trying is not him and doesn't sound like him. it's just that, he doesn't have the voice for it. his voice is more for singing which was why pluggnb was perfect for him. now, saying his voice isn't made for rock isn't an opinion, it's just a fact.
