Wednesday, September 11th, 2024 members of the Jefferson Fire Department will be participating in a 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb at Jefferson Memorial Stadium.
Members will climb the bleachers at the football field 52 times up (and down) to represent the 2071 stairs climbed by firefighters to the 110th floor of the Twin Towers.
We are opening this up to the public for anyone else that would like to participate in this event with us.
We will begin climbing at 0846 AM
*Climb at your own risk.
*Appropriate clothing and shoes are suggested.
*Water Bottles encouraged.
*Please treat the Stadium with respect and clean up after yourselves.
