I am so glad to hear that someone else gives their dolls powers. All of my dolls have powers to, but they are not super heroes they are fairies. They look like the fairies from the land of stories and the tale of magic series by Chris Colfer. Those are my favorite books when I was in seventh grade

Hey, I'm planning to get her at the AG store this weekend but was curious about the texture. So far, every unboxing video I've watched mentions how she has very textured or frizzy hair that's hard to manage. Would you say her hair feels somehow different, or more rough then a typical brand new AG doll? Would you please describe your experience with taking care of the wig? I'm just still a little hesitant to get her even though she is ADORABLE!

I love these kind of videos. Never apologize for creating what matters to you. This is a valuable topic and I agree so much that doll collecting should be more normal. Since so many people are influenced by celebrities, it’s a good reminder that some celebrities are just like us! I have been talking and sharing about my doll collecting to family and friends more lately and it is starting to feel very normal to me. Sometimes they comment or look at me funny but they also tell me about dolls they have seen when they are out shopping and ask me if I am interested! The more we hide it then it becomes weird. Let’s be proud of our passion. 😃💕

Your little Evelyn is super cute. The Nanea mold is my favourite AG face mold too. The little ballet outfit is so sweet and really suits her. I appreciated you sharing that the clothes could be difficult for kids to put on. That will help out a lot of Moms out there! I think we all struggle with the urge to spend money on new dolls. My trick for that is to play with and change outfits on the dolls I have. It can sometimes buy you some time until the next pay cheque. 🙏💕 good luck and have fun!

12:02 It’s not just you. I’ve noticed that, compared to my older dolls that were made between 2001 and 2014, my newer dolls’ legs and faces have a weird bumpy texture. On top of that I noticed that my Nanea and 35th Anniversary Molly had a different “new doll smell” compared to my other dolls.

My favourite of the new Truly Mes (as someone who doesn't really collect the Truly Mes) is #112. Like I said, I don't actually collect the TMs, but I bought her only about a month after they released.

Awwww yay! Congrats! I'm so glad you ended up getting her. She is probably my favorite of the new TM dolls and was my first from the rebrand too. I feel you on the quality.. it's not as good, with the exception of some pieces, but it still blows the off brands out of the water.

I’m so glad you finally got the wig on and she does look cute. I’m sure once the glue is washed out she will look amazing. I totally understand what you mean about people not understanding. We all have different skill sets and not everyone is artistic. Good for you for going out of your comfort zone! 👍😃

And this is why I almost never glue wigs down when I rewig dolls lol. That and the fact that I like the ability to switch it up. This was relatable, though.

Her wig turned out really cute. Hopefully you were able to get the glue all out. That was very brave of you to film and post the whole thing. You just showed everyone that their wigs can turn out cute too even if it's stressful and chaotic. :) I've only done one wig swap and it was too stressful to try again. Now I send my dolls to customizers if I want something changed, but that is much more expensive than doing it yourself. Great job!

Ok so I actually really loved the chaos that ensued during this video because I feel like we have ALL been there with learning how to re-wig. Seriously, most of us that know what we are doing now, only know what we are doing because we made mistakes. But we made them in private, which makes it seem like we have always been good at it. In this case, you just used way too much glue (as I'm sure you've now realized). I do love how the wig looks on her though, it really is perfect! And it's a much better use for it than laying in a box of wigs in my doll room 😅
