This is the personal RUclips page of Don Moore. I am the Minister of Music/Education at Oak Grove Baptist Church in Van Buren, Arkansas. You will mostly find videos of worship music from our church, but I also include some videos of myself practicing euphonium and singing solos. We're finishing off the last Sunday of 2024 with Christmas songs at Oak Grove Baptist Church, Van Buren! This morning, we're singing "Joy to the World with Shout for Joy," Christmas lyric versions of "10,000 Reasons," "Here I Am to Worship," and "God of the Ages." A special "O, Holy Night" solo is presented by Greenlee. Invitation/Time of Reflection is "I'd Rather Have Jesus."

The Celebration Christmas Choir and Worship Team led a Morning of Christmas Worship! The Choir started us off with "Arise, Shine!". After the special, the choir led us in singing Christmas lyric versions of these worship songs: "Here Am to Worship," "What a Beautiful Name," "God of the Ages," and "10,000 Reasons." The Call to Invitation and Reflection was ""The Savior Is Waiting".

The Celebration choir starts us out with "On the Banks of the Promised Land with I am Bound for the Promised Land", featuring soloist Cindi Robertson. We sang these songs together as a congregation: "Count Your Blessings", "Once Again (Thank You for the Cross)", "Thank You Jesus for the Blood", "Give Thanks", and "Thank You Lord".

Do they have just the accompaniment instrumental? I downloaded the split tracks for 50dollars but thats not what I needed,,,
@@vgchoo It looks like you can call 1-800-436-3869 and order an accompaniment CD, but I would just use the (usually left) channel with the accompaniment if it were me.

I like the SM4 the best. How do you like the horn? It's a bit pricey compared to other similar horns (Yamaha YEP321) but do you get what you pay for?
I keep coming back to the SM4. I got ahold of a 4AL that I’m liking. I need to record and compare that one and see how it sounds. It feels similar to the SM4, but the rim feels maybe a little flatter? It seems to be a bit more focused and high notes seem a little easier. “The jury is still out”. I’m trying a Mercer and Barker MB4-ET, but I’m not really liking it. The rim feels uncomfortable and the sound is louder, but not pleasant to my ears. (I need to record it too) The 321S is a great horn! They are about $3200 new. The Adams is about $5000. Its playability (once you get used to the larger bore and get the AGR adjusted) is outstanding and its intonation is spot on. If you put in the work, it will do more and better than the Yamaha 321S and is worth the price difference. 😀
@@singplay6 Have you tried a Schilke 51D? Coincidentally all three euphonium players in our community band play the Yamaha YEP321 with a Schilke 51D mouthpiece. We all stumbled onto this combination independently. The Schilke really changes the Yamaha significantly to sound much better. Really opens up the horn making it sound warmer, rounder and sweeter.
@@danielsopchak5848 I tried it for a while when I played in an Army Field Band in Indianapolis, Indiana. (I was playing on a Bach 3 at the time) The sound was pretty good, but my overall playing suffered. In that particular environment, the Bach 3 worked better. Later on, I switched to the SM4B. It had a lot of the qualities I liked in the 51D, but gave me the sound, flexibility, and comfort I wanted.
