How to Fix a Broken Water Hose Auto Detailing
Where do you buy the pump
When you got to the surgery part i was thinking you were going to say you got appendicitis.
Thankfully no! Thanks for the comment, really means a lot!
My pleasure
Just purchased the big green pet pro. I hope it works just as well!!
Congrats! Bissell Big Greens are great machines!
Are you still using the Bissel Big Green?
I am, for small jobs. For bigger jobs, I rent a machine with a higher capacity
I appreciate your hustle and attention to detail! Great work brother!! Question, did you use cold or hot water with the Bissell and where did you source it from? I have a similar setup and entrepreneurship here in LA. I’d love to compare notes if you’re open to it! Peace & Blessings & “Hustle Hard!”
Bro can you please explain me the detail of the chemicals you used.
Great video brutha! Appreciate you taking the time to help other people and show and talk about this Topic! 👍🙏
Yo I just added carpet cleaning to my company with this thanks bro
Hello my friend, what is the name of the product you sprayed on the carpet?
I used a carpet cleaner from Home Depot, used as a pre agitator and rinsed with the big green.
Bro, you the real OG! Keep it going!
If you wanna ditch a couple of these items. Try the Ego Cordless pressure washer. I managed to clean one truck and one small camper and still have half the battery left. A bit expensive but will save you space. As powerful as a small gas pressure washer. Also try the bissel oxy heavy traffic caroet shampoo, good on the hard carpet stains.
Yes gravity feeding sucks huge. Did I see right the hose threads on the pump 1 inch FHT? Damn awesome thanks dude!
You was going through it man. I like how you stayed the course and pushed on through ✅
Yeah it was a doozie for real 😆 but I had fun creating the video too so I can’t be mad.
Make that $ bro! Stay focused
Preciate ya! Hope you’re handling your business as well !
I've been carpet cleaning for 12 years now. I have had many professional carpet cleaning machines, and after all these years, I am now using the setup this guy has. A rotary machine and a Big Green. Never let me down in the 2 years I've been using them. I get better results from a Big Green than any Jaguar or Prochem machines.
Makes me wonder why I keep seeing all these comments over the internet saying not to get one. Is it because people want to seem more professional?
@@Whyareyoulying100 I think that 'professional' carpet cleaners are a strange breed of people. They are so easily persuaded by the carpet cleaner manufacturers that their machine is the best. if you don't have a fancy extraction wand it won't work. It's all a load of BS. As for looking professional. when i turn up with a decent rotary brush and a big green I feel professional as hell. I also let the results do the talking. Carpet cleaners are just sour, because they've spent 1000s on a machine that the big green can do.
For me, it’s about efficiency. This is no longer my setup and I upgraded to a machine with a bigger recovery and solution tank, as well as better suction. I don’t take anything away from the bissell, it can just be cumbersome when you have a lot of square footage to clean. At the end of the day, you gotta run with what you can afford.
Nice work
Really niiiice video!!!!
Thanks!!
These burn out easily if run dry by accident, very touchy and no breaker to turn it off if dry or overheating.
Yeah I’m back to gravity, or I just flat out use the customers water until I figure this thing out 😅
@@premiumdetails7574can you talk more about gravity and the tank set up with that?
Is it not any truth in GPM ( gallons per minute)from diaphragm pump not exceeding the GPM of the pressure washer?
I’m not sure to be honest. I’m just learning and trying to figure it out like everyone else, my guy.
@@premiumdetails7574 starting GPM for me I say now is 5.5 gpm.. that's sufficient enough coupled with a valve to regulate the water pressure so you don't blow the seals on the diaphragm pump
what is its suction power? especially if used as an extractor? what kind of vacuum does it create? Is it weaker than Karcher puzzi 8?
Never dealt with that machine before so I don’t know. Here’s a link to the big green specs and you can compare to the other machines: www.bissell.com/big-green-machine-professional-carpet-cleaner-86T3.html
Good on you buddy! Hope it works out!
Thanks my guy!
I have the big green and the oreck orbiter and it does professional quality work!! You got it on lock!!
what is its suction power? especially if used as an extractor? what kind of vacuum does it create? Is it weaker than Karcher puzzi 8?
@san4ez83 It has really good suction power better than most portable extractors on the market. If it had steam it would be almost as good as a commercial extractor. With a good agitator like my orek orbiter you can get professional results for sure
@ronnieholliday7750 Does the furniture dry cleaning nozzle itself also powerfully draw in water? I'm more interested in the power of a furniture dry cleaning attachment than cleaning carpet. I’m now choosing between karcher puzzi 8 or Big green BG10
@san4ez83 The Big Green attachment has great suction as well. I use it for stairs and upolstry cleaning and it does a good job. The Puzzi is good for spot cleaning small areas or upolstry cleaning so it really depends on how you will be using it.
@@ronnieholliday7750 thanks for the answer. There’s not a lot of money at the start, so I want a universal option, both for carpeting and for cleaning furniture upholstery. I just doubted that the big green on the nozzle would not have enough power to collect water well. I watched a video where, on a Puzzy8, I removed the brush and used the nozzle hose to lift a liter bottle filled with water. this is great. I couldn’t find any power tests for the Biggreen nozzle. so I doubted it, I thought the BG would have the same power as the compact little green.
My first company was a commercial cleaning company I ran a Groupon add for 150 for 3 rooms.. It sold like 70 jobs.. Groupon took half 😂.. I did all these jobs with a bissel.. Next I started doing sub work for Cintas ( cvs, Victoria secrets lots of retail. ) so I got a low speed and a ninja extractor Now we are a construction company and do SOME floor work. I use a mytee pro 17 bonnet ( encap) a cimex or a trinity.. I used to have a spray borg also.. I pre vac, pre spray and post vac if facility cannot do it. Great job getting starting .. enjoy the ride..
Sound like you seen it all… I respect it!
I brought mine for $150 from the pawn shop! Best thing I could have done !
Thank you
Is that a new vacuum cleaner for your business, or are you still using the other one.
Still using the same one
👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼💯🎩
Nice video. Did you hook up to the m22 fitting or the 3/8 we pick disconnect directly to the reel?
Honestly I can’t remember, I sold this piece a good while ago
You wouldn't of known however a endcap product would OK f worked.
Don’t quite understand what you’re saying, but I’m thinking you’re saying if I knew about encap at the time? I didn’t. I know a good deal about it now, and it definitely saved my ass a couple times.
Ya I ran into that problem the first time. Gotta make sure you get the standard 3/4 inch water hose connection. Some of those pumps are 3/8’s fittings.
Where you get the agitator?
It’s called an Oreck Orbiter
You have agitation, brush. Best way stop the suction and scrub/spray. Use a encap product. Next such out.... easy does not take long. This guy needs to learn more about encap.
Do you charge less than competitors that are using a truck mount or higher pressure portable?
Being that I have low overhead I can charge a more affordable price. But truck mounts are significantly more efficient and can make you way more money just from the time savings.
Based
Had to look up what that meant and you’re right my guy!
Subscribed. Well informed. Its a blast to watch this. Thanks for the great content
Thanks for that! I haven’t been able to produce content at the rate I want, but I haven’t forgot about it, just super busy!
hi what kind of pad are you using thanks
Using a red scrubbing pad
reed pads is for low speed machine?or 1500rpm
@erikaparra6124 used for low speed, the 1500 rpm machine uses light brown hogs hair pad
The Big Green extractor really is a workhorse. I would call it entry-level professional equipment, no heat but built-in agitation. I think one of the advantages the BG extractor has is that you don’t need a van to haul it, I fit one in an Audi TT with room for a vacuum and other stuff. Downside is definitely the smaller tank size and having to physically remove the water tanks. You can easily use two tanks in a big living room, and it slows you down. The Mytee Lite 8070 is probably the closest comparison and it’s more than twice the price, but does have a tank heater and uses standard extractor accessories. It also can fill/dump without having to break down the machine which is a massive time saver. If you do get a Big Green to start a cleaning company, you will have the option to decommission it and operate it as a rental machine once you out grow it. $50+/day doesn’t take long to pay for itself. Easily charge more than the box stores to rent if you deliver with pre measured cleaning chemicals.
Great info
Looks nice great job
Thanks! Trying to get better everyday
I just got a Bissell big green for our living room area to clean, man I’m getting the idea 💡 🧐to start offering quick carpet cleaning services now.
I feel you, I’ve had that idea. But when you see the amount of work that goes into it and constant refilling, you quickly realize that you need something bigger if you want to start a business. Good luck!
Does the prespray have to sit for a few minutes 🤔
You would let it sit for a 10 minutes before extraction. Having something agitate is even better.
What protectant do you use ?
VRP Dressing by chemical guys
Where did you buy the cone air tip
I got this one from Amazon
Thanks for the video bro. 👊
My dawg💪🏾
Amazon
what do you use for pre-treatment and where can i buy it
That is Zep premium carpet cleaner diluted 10:1, and just plain hot water in the tank to rinse
@@premiumdetails7574 ty
I see you putting in work! 💪✨️💰 Its been a minute since you posted the vid. Is Big Green still worthy now after heavy rotation? 🤔 I'm thinking about getting one...
Shout out to you! I’m working behind the scenes on a lot of things trying to get right. I think the bissell is a good machine, but you should have a plan to upgrade to something with a lil more punch and capacity.
@@premiumdetails7574 Right on thx for hitting me back. I just need it for my own personal here at the house. Keep grinding 💪
Already 💪🏾
Same setup I got!
Right on!
Were you been keep going with those videos on carpet cleaning with the big green I just got my own big green
The big green is cool, but I’ve been doing a good bit of encap cleaning commercial carpet recently.
Hello, Friend!!! I got the little green machine, and I love it. Thinking about renting a Big Green to help clean my friends apartment. Going to do the 4:1 ratio in spray bottle. Did you use that as the main shampooing element, or was that your pre-treat and then use a detergent in the Big Green? And did you do wet passes and dry passes? Thanks!!!! Also, for stains like in the video where you were using something to agitate, is there something I could without using one of those machines to agitate? Thanks!!!
Hi, thanks for the comment! Agitation is an important part of the process, so if you don’t have a small orbital machine, you can get a carpet/upholstery brush from Walmart and agitate. Trust me, it makes life so much easier! When I do carpets, I just use hot water for extraction. One dry pass for every wet pass. Good luck!
Lol 😂 I get what you're saying but at the beginning when you said I open up the tank and let the gravity go in 😂😂😂
That was before I got the pump
@@premiumdetails7574I think I gotta learn that method cause I can’t get my water passed my pump on my washer maybe cause it’s not built for tank/gravity flow
It’s all about the connections. Gotta see what the endings are and match them up.
That's what you me! 😂
How much was it? Can’t seem to find it at northern tool
I think it was around 150. It was some years back so it may be discontinued. There’s other places that can provide that for you too.
You can get tanks from tractor supply
Was the mopping necessary? I am currently working a 4K SqFt job. Looks great already, but I want to make it look like glass. The floor will not be walked on until I burnish it. Can it be burnished without moping since it is freshly laid wax with no traffic?
In this situation, there was a light layer of traffic where I used some neutral floor cleaner to get that off and burn it. I think the only way for yours to look like glass is to just lay another coat or two down. Good luck.
@@premiumdetails7574 I wish I could post a picture. It looks really good already. I am just looking for that burnished glassy look. Thanks!
How many coats do you have on it? Four good coats would have it dialed in.
@@premiumdetails7574 I have exactly 4 coats of 25% wax.
Oh ok. I really think you would be good with that. Anything over that amount of coats would be overkill, I would come back every three months and top scrub with a red pad, lay another coat or two down.
Gret info man, I appreciate it
💪🏾
