Went to the irotama beach on 10/27/22 at 6am and after close to an hour in the water I returned to find the t shirt and thongs I left there got stolen ! Crappy thieves are stupid and shouldn't steal crap from beach goers !

Bars and clubs in Santa Marta La Azotea: this chill rooftop bar and club is a perfect place for a few drinks in the city center. La Puerta: this club is a Santa Marta classic, playing latin and rock music. Parque de los Novios: this is not a club, but the place where you can find many others nearby.

I didn’t do much in Barranquilla, I stayed with family and they actually took us around.... food was great taganga, the beaches etc.... you should go, but don’t go alone it’s best if you go with people you know...when are you planning to go, and are you a male or female?

Cartagena was amazing, too. The city's colonial style buildings are very nice. However, during the day I felt that the city was quite hectic while the streets of the old city were full of tourists. At night there are a lot of prostitutes going around searching for clients. This is what I didn't like so much. Santa Marta instead is a small and sweet city and the people are more relaxed which is why I find it a little more charming than Cartagena.
