Lazer, what a great walkthrough. Super helpful for new teams.
Best MTI partners, keep up the great work for Into the Deep!
Looks delicate and complicated like a clock. A good name for it would be A Loosely Held Cloud Of Debris or Lucy for short.
That beginning sequence looks CRAZY similar to my team's reveal this season lol. Awesome meeting you guys as MTI, and thanks for the buttons 😁

Very cool!
Such a great time being able to put up a win with you guys! Hope to see you here again next year 🎉
Great work!
I love how at 1:48 and 1:20 you move pixels to score mosaics. You built an amazing bot and you drive super well. Congratulations on making it to MTI in your rookie year! Congratulations on getting the honorable mention for the MTI KISS award! Congratulations on being ranked 6th coming out of quals! What a great season you have had!
Thank you Francis! This wouldn't have been possible without you!
This helped us a lot thank you
Not the best run we could have had at states this year but it was great playing with y'all. Hopefully we can run it back next year but win.
We hope so too. See you in the water game!
this team did a great job! good job everyone
great job guys ur robot looks sick
Nice job!
Awesome driving!
secret 0th semifinal match
I remember one of our pit was actively cheering against us because they loved gearticks That was a good match, looks painful from gearticks side though
Gracious! :)
great job, guys!!
This is fabulous, thanks for sharing. I will share this as a great exemplar for our teams to follow.
Would you be willing to share building instructions for your robot base? We’re a rookie team and are looking for some inspiration
Unfortunately we can’t give out building instructions, but we’d be happy to share some pictures. Feel free to email us at lazerroboticsfll@gmail.com
great job you did really well!
Did you make the FTC parts yourself?
We can customize a lot of our parts, but we buy a lot of them from a vendor called gobilda
I work with PID systems professionally, and this is the most concise and solid explanation of how to tune PID systems I've found so far. I'm bookmarking this for if I need to explain PID tuning to any of my colleagues in the future.
Thank you so much for the feedback!
This was a wonderful tip, thank you!
I'm going to be helping out as a first-time assistant coach, and this video is very helpful, thank you!
No problem, if you have any more questions feel free to reach out
Thats a pretty cool workshop. Also a rlly cool tour.
It seems really cool, but I assume its even cooler to work in
Great work! Especially like the oil/truck, and smart connect/solar farm solutions. But for the Watch Television mission, the rulebook says "The watch television model and the energy unit in the green television slot may not be touching team equipment at the end of the match." So I think the detached mechanical aligner may be a problem.
Thanks for pointing that out! We actually had to redesign it mid competition to make it score.
Thanks for the video brother
It was so good to meet you guys at the event, and thank you for making many other public schools here in Morocco being able to join the program through your donation ! Best of luck !!
Hope you enjoy the donations!
This is amazing video. Block pythons fll team will keep being in touch with you. Thanks for donating us a bunch of lego parts. Each and every one in Block pythons loves everyone in Lazer robotics team. We had good time in Morocco. See you again. Hopefully we will meet again. Good luck in FTC
It was amazing meeting you in person. Good luck in the upcoming season and hope to see you again!
Congratulations on such an awesome trip to Morocco! Your donation program is inspiring. It's been awesome working with you and we look forward to seeing you at FTC competitions.
Thank you! You and your team's mentorship has helped a bunch this season and we look forward to meeting again in the future.
You are amazing guys! 💖❤️
Hi Jerry, we didn't meet in person in Marrakech at the FLL but I couldn't agree more with you. The atmosphere, the connection between the teams, the cheering for each other, that was truly amazing. I didn't know what to expect, after all it is a competition, but it's not actually. It doesn't feel like a competition, which is a big accomplishment by the FLL organization and everyone involved. As a proud father of one of the SUPERFLOW guys, I saw my son enjoying every minute. He made a lot a new friends there!!
Yes! Fully agree. Hope see your team in the future!
Wow im am from team superflow miself and to me it was also so amazing looking at the energie evry team brought in and il allways keep the memorry of our both teams playing amerikan football after the event and prizes and i also switched schits with you guys and its amazing to see it in the backround til next time
It was awesome meeting you! We hope you see you again in the future!
Hi Jerry, fantastic video. We are glad to have met you and your team and supporters in Marrakech. You are an amazing team. Hopefully we'll see each other again at WPI. Keep it up.
Hope to see you at WPI!
Sounds like so much fun! Congrats on your results this season :)
Thank you so much! Good luck in your next season
@@lazerrobotics Thanks, we are working hard to get the whole team ready for the release
Hi mi from one og the teams from norway that Are gonig to marokko
Hope to see you there!
@@lazerrobotics me to
Amazing! Great to see you have 20 seconds left in the run!
It was awesome meeting with you!
Great work you did. Congratulations
Heyyy congrats team 👏
so amazing
Wow! How do you get such accurate turns? Is it via gyro/motor rotations (encoder)/acceleration?
Yes! All of our turns are done with a gyro turning algorithm that makes all turns the same speed.
@@lazerrobotics cool! me and my teams have had some issues with gyro turns because it tends to overshoot even at low speeds. we solved it by attempting to turn a second time after the first turn, at a lower speed to the second direction with pretty good success: but it is a bit slow. do you have any tips on efficient gyro turns I can give out to my teams? thanks in advance!
We also ran into the issue of over turning. To solve it, we figured out how much we over turn after each turn, which for most people is around 7 degrees. We then subtracted that value from the amount we wanted to turn. The more complex part of the algorithm is the part that makes all turns take the same amount of time. It will speed up the turn the longer it is and shorten the speed the shorter the turn is. Hope this helps!
@@lazerrobotics wow, impressive. what does the constant time of the turns help with? thanks for the answers up until now!
@@yahligilboa7489 The constant turn speed just helps us know how long each turn is so we can plan accordingly with how the 2:30 time period. We would be happy to talk more so feel free to reach out to us at lazerroboticsfll@gmail.com.
this was helpful
So cool seeing you guys do so well at states!
Thank you so much! What team were you on?
For moving the truck you should build a weight powered cart and then put a ramp on that releases the car when it hits a wall In the right home area.
Thanks for the idea! We might consider it in the future
