You don't have to be related by blood to see someone as family. If someone raised & cared for a child when their biological parent didn't or couldn't, then that person is by all accounts the parent of that child

You dont get to storm in and take over when your actions caused your child to be rehomed and looked after by someone else. Failed as a mother through and through, even going as far as to swoop back in and mess everything up again rather then look out for her daughters well being.

I'm kinda sad they didn't go for the god ending. It would have been a perfect ending, with the devil becoming God. Don't get me wrong, I love what we got. But this could definetly have worked, and perhaps been better.

Shit sadly happens all to often in reality though. Had a neighbor who was a junky. Had a child with one of the junky dudes. Her mother kept trying to get the baby from her through court cause the junky mom never worked, didnt take care of the baby, and used the baby as a way to get sympathy from others to get cash from them. Courts never handed the kid over cause it was in the childs best interest to be with its biological mother. Sadly the mother got cancer and ended up dying 2 years after being diagnosed, found out junky girl was selling her moms cancer meds on the streets during those years, thats why it took her so fast. Junky girl then got with abusive junky guy and sadly kid never got out of that bad situation. Yet pa courts allowed that bullshit. Junky girls brother tried to get the kid for a few years, but pa courts always denied cause kids better off with the bio mom. Poor kid never had a chance at agood home.
