You know, I also have the sequel to this game if you ‘d like to see it.
Only if we get the 'Edmini Fitzgerald'.
This was my absolute favorite arcade cabinet when I was a kid. Never realized that I had ports. Glad to see it on grumblemas.
I HEAR THE LEAFBLOWER, MIKE!
You were probably listening for it. I’ll see if I hear it, too.
@@deabionni Oh, you'll hear it. If you have ears, you'll hear it.
I played most of the road rash games on sega and ps1, always enjoyed the games. In the playstation store there a game call road redemption which is similar to road rage if you catch it on sale you can get for 5 dollars. When you beat the game you get a bonus race on mario kart rainbow road
Thanks for the tip! I’ll look for it, and keep an eye out for when it goes on sale.
This game had so much potential. I’m sad that we weren’t able to finish a round.
A grumblemas first
We got Sonic, we got pinball, we got Chris, and we got original Xbox modding, what’s not to love.
I had the sega cd when it came out, the only game i played for it that was any good was sonic cd. The other games i had for it which wasnt many was ass
lol. Just wait until Day 6 gets uploaded tonight.
@thecreepynightshiftguy if its a bad game their too many to choose from to guess
You are two hours early
Glad Chris is back
It was past midnight here when I uploaded it. Sorry to ruin your day, I guess. :)

@@thecreepynightshiftguy I'm starting to think that I'd be fired from running a lemonade stand! You know, maybe one Grumbleness we should play games where we have to "play manager" and see how many more things I can get fired from, lol!
@@deabionni I like the idea. I did recently consider something though. You are very good at Oregon Trail, and that's a management game, so technically, I'd call that a point on the board for you.
Love playing this game as a kid, always had to use the code to beat it
Glad to see we're not the only ones. lol
I LOVE this time of year!
Is it already that time of year again?
I know! This year felt short for some reason.
Lol you guys are the Beavis and Butthead of video game commentary 😂😂😂

Happy 7 year anniversary , I always feel good when I listen to one of the games you guys play , wish you best for the channel and also lets go for that fallout 100th episode haha
We're hitting the 10 year mark this spring! I can't believe we've been doing this for a decade now. I don't think it's much of a spoiler, but New Vegas will definitely be going past 100 episodes. Thanks, for watching. You're doing great work by the way. Every update you post looks better and better.
Saw this today, the preview of the new indy game. Figure might be something you would maybe like ruclips.net/video/W7N6R01_Rh8/видео.htmlsi=PQ0cCByXWe_cdCYR
Lol. By Indy game I thought you meant it was by some indy developer. It looks interesting, but I have mixed feelings. I'm a huge fan of the Indian Jones trilogy, but they've done Indy so dirty the past few decades, this could really suck. On the other hand, I saw Tony Todd in the preview, so that might be some potential. Thanks for the heads up. Its rare that a new game comes along that interests me, but this one might if they don't blow it.
My dog is the same way...I heard a squirrel fart...so I'll bark ALOT...😂
My first Wolfenstein was the very first game on the apple 2 PC
The original stealth game! Nice.
Wow! I wore this game disk out! Me and my brother-in-law beat the game together.
I could never get to the end. That's awesome!
"Attention American kommando! You are sourrounded and there is no chance of escape! Lay down your veapons 😂😂 and ve will talk like man of civilazaytion!" at start of last mission 😂😂😂
7:08 yup, shootin' with x button - crap!
5:32 didn't name Manon and lack of square jaw give you any hint she's French? German women don't look that good! 😂😂
That "You're Jimmy Paterson!" was shouted by German officer in spy mission on u-bot. Right after "Ihre papiere bitte" 😂😂
Damn, I spent weeks to get stats like 100% hits, then 100% headshots! Love the fact that's only in moh1 germans use to pick up and throw back grenades. They never done it in Frontline, despite it's next gen console. Even on hard mode!
They just don't build them like they used to...
This is certainly a flashback, i remember playing this game back in the day. This and timesplinters 3 were my favorite fps back than.
Never played Time Splitters 3, but I played the hell out of the first one.
038 - Charge Man should be 15:14
Just fixed it. Thanks.
Looking forward to the next few months. I always hope this channel will always be a thing, you're about the only lets play channel i watch for the dark humor and feels like you dont act like a cartoon character to get the views and cater more for a older audience.
Thanks, man. That means a lot to us. We'll keep doing this as long as we're having fun.
Really enjoyed this playthrough man! Thank you for playing it <3
Thanks for recommending it! Mike and I had a blast with this one, and we are even talking about possibly going through again somewhere in the future. Really glad you enjoyed it. Sorry it took so long to get around to it.
Super fun game, many fond memories as a kid. Thanks for sharing. You guys were entertaining to listen to.
Thanks for watching. I'm always impress I talk to anyone who played this back in the day. It flew way under the radar.
@thecreepynightshiftguy It definitely dived under the sonar ! Vehicular combat games are criminally underrated as a whole. Currently watching your V8:SO stuff.
Been along time since i played this one but was there a alt path on stage 4 where the swing platform and spike ball b4 you hit the stair case to the boss area? Could be wrong tbh
Yes there is. I think that's the one where you have to blow up the wall. That might be the only one we didn't do while playing through this one.
Great play thru, when you do another play thru you should get connor to join jericho as well
Thanks a lot. I don't know if we'll ever do another playthrough of this one on the channel. I'll probably play through the game again someday, but we've got huge backlog of games we still want to do.
Update: We talked and we're probably going to do this one again someday down the line.
@@thecreepynightshiftguy nice will look forward to it
I can't really comment on whether USS Cyclops was a Proteus-class ship, I never took a deep dive into it. I'd noticed differences, but that's all too common among ships in a class--even the different number of funnels. This is particularly true when ships get overhauled, repaired, or upgraded. The ultimate problem is that the USS Cyclops is interesting because of her disappearance, and people don't particularly care about the specifications of the ship. There is also the confusion of the USS Proteus and USS Nereus going down after being loaded with ore instead of coal. The limit of their interest is that it was the largest US Navy disaster and greatest loss of life suffered by a US Navy ship at that point, and of course, that it "disappeared in the Bermuda Triangle"...... This is a matter of debate. We only know her last known stop was in Barbados. There was plenty of time for her to come to grief before entering the Bermuda Triangle. There is actually no proof USS Proteus was lost in the Bermuda Triangle, either. I don't think USS Cyclops was overloaded. More likely, her load shifted, or a freak wave overwhelmed her. Her hull was vulnerable to hogging or sagging, and of course, a freak wave hitting her from the side could cause her load to shift and knock her over. The same applies to Nereus and Proteus, of course--though those two may have been overloaded--I know too little about their losses to say. We'll have to disagree about Clive Cussler, and in particular, the book "Cyclops". Do they seriously stretch the facts to fit the story? Yes--but that's the point, they're only stories meant to entertain. No one in their right mind, for instance, thought the RMS Titanic would or could be refloated. The book "Cyclops" gets its name because it's the opening scene in the book. Cussler does have a tendency to draw names from his novels from one scene in the book. It's short and catchy. I think his goal was to get people interested in history by threading historical events and possible historical into his books. I'm aware of several people who did indeed develop a fascination with history because of his books. Really, they're just a version of James Bond, but with more nautical leanings. And who takes Ian Fleming's works seriously?
Hey, someone who actually knows a few things about the subject! You are a rare find out here. If you lump Cyclops and Jupiter into the Proteus class, you have throw in Neptune, Jason, Orion, Achilles, and Ulysses as well. They are all derivative of the same overall layout, but everyone only cites the Jupiter, Cyclops, Proteus, and Nereus as the Proteus class. The big one is Neptune though. I could forgive not lumping the others in due to their Isherwood framing, but the Neptune was almost virtually a twin to the Jupiter outside of her engine and a few smaller details. I'm pretty sure the only reason so much information has been revealed is due to the research and books of Marvin Barrash, who lost a family member on her when she disappeared. I honestly haven't looked too much into the disappearances of Proteus and Nereus, other than looking up the Canadian fleet that bought them and the poor condition they were in at the time of the sale. I didn't find any sources that said they were loaded with coal, only ones that mentioned bauxite. It wouldn't surprise me if this information was wrong though, details about civilian merchant salt water fleets are usually pretty hard to track down, and most historians jump to conclusions when they don't have all the details. You've got me interest now though. I'll have to look into this. Yeah, I screwed up on the overloaded comment. I was in a hurry to get the video recorded at the time and it really shows. I agree with you on the cargo shifting. The denser cargo meant her hulls weren't completely full, giving the cargo more opportunity to shift with the waves. The theory makes more sense considering the age of the ship at the time and I'm pretty sure the overloaded myth was debunked at one point. Agree to disagree on Cussler, but I did enjoy some of his books. I don't fault Cussler for his deviating from fact to tell an interesting story, I just don't care for his ham-fisted attempt to make Dirk Pitt some kind of self-insert Mary Sue, but the same can be said for a lot of successful authors. That being said, I did enjoy some of his work. One of my all time favorite movies growing up was Raise the Titanic, and when I finally read the book, I was blown away with how better the book was. I enjoyed some elements of other books too like Deep Six, Treasure, and Night Probe, but his books really don't hold up even in their own continuity. I lost track of how many times, he ended up retconning major details of his books to try to make them fit into our timeline a bit better. I get the issue, but I wish he would've just stuck to his own continuity a bit better. I hated the book Cyclops, mainly just because the whole plot just spent way too much time meandering in Cuba. I really wish some of the movie adaptations would've been a bit more true to the source material. Some of those stories had some serious potential and I can understand why watching Raiders of the Lost Ark got such an emotional reaction out of him when he first saw it. That had to have been tough. Anyway, thanks for the comment. You brought up a lot of good points and even gave me a few things to consider. One day, I plan on doing a series on these ships, because I find them truly fascinating and very underappreciated. That's why I find it so annoying that these so called "historians" keep getting this one detail wrong. It just cheapens their story a little bit.
@@thecreepynightshiftguy Manganese ore tends to turn into a slurry if it gets wet, and Lloyds of London suggested this after being asked to investigate. I did check, and even Wikipedia confirmed the later build dates for USS Proteus and USS Nereus--the other three were clearly earlier. While this is oddly no guarantee they weren't considered the same class of ships, it does lend credence to them being different classes. There've been a couple instances where the "lead" ship of a class wasn't the first ship laid down or put in the water. This can be for a variety of reasons, ranging from there already being a prior ship class of the same name, to being some congressman's pet project (many a ship's name has been decided to curry favor with a politician). No mention is made of USS Neptune in relation to the other four. Looking at it, there are notable differences between it and all of the other four. This is something where navy records and builder's plans must be consulted. Still, it doesn't look like Cyclops or Jupiter (or Neptune) were Proteus-class. There's no doubt when the navy pulled the Nereus and Proteus out of mothballs on the eve of WW2, they saw two prime examples of the antique sea show. Their 15-knot top speed alone guaranteed the navy would want rid of them. After all, by this point, most of their warships were capable of 30 knots. Very few couldn't do 25 knots, making them useless as fleet supply ships. I could easily imagine some officer getting physically ill at the idea of putting those floating wrecks back in with the fleet.
@@RMSTitanicWSL As much as I used Wikipedia and think that it doesn't entirely deserve it's bad reputation, I take anything they say about these ships with a huge grain of salt. I agree, that the class isn't always named after the first ship built sometimes, but we're talking by a matter of years here. Cyclops was in service a full year before they even laid the keel of Proteus. According to records, the Jupiter and Cyclops were ordered in early 1908, the Neptune was ordered in 1909, and Proteus and Nereus were ordered in 1910. The reason Neptune was ordered was because the bid from Cramp & Sons to build Cyclops came in at half the budget, so they decided to issue funds for a third ship in that series. This was actually the reason Jupiter took so long to build. The Navy was notorious for being way less efficient at shipbuilding than the private sector, and once their budget for the Jupiter was cut in half, the Mare Island yard said they needed more funding. The next year, Congress raised the budget to $1 million, but it still wasn't enough so it took a whole extra year to approved funding for the Jupiter. Jupiter and Neptune were built so much later than Cyclops that you can see the evolution of the design from ship to ship. Cyclops had Mead-Morris unloading riggings, but by time Neptune was being built, the Vulcan class had already been built and Maryland went with Lidgerwood rigging instead. Mare Island went with the same Lidgerwood system for the Jupiter, but unlike the Neptune or the Orion Class, the central track only covered the aft holds and the coal bunker. Cyclops, Jupiter, and Neptune weren't exact copies, but they were the closest things to sisters as any other of the colliers. Proteus and Nereus on the other hand we virtually identical, same as the Orion and the Jason, and the Ulysses and Achilles. I'd imagine a "Down Periscope" scenario when the Proteus and Nereus were considered for reactivation. They were so woefully outdated and falling apart that I can't image there would be very high moral for anyone assigned to those vessels had they been called back to service. The Navy made the right call in selling them. I've seen how Canadian shipping companies work and the fact that Saguenay Terminals rushed those two out into service doesn't surprise me at all. I just feel bad for the poor bastards that ended up sailing those semi-floating wrecks out to sea that winter.
@@thecreepynightshiftguy I had to point that out just as an advisory. The military works in screwy ways.... any military, to be honest. It's not the first time I've seen ships lumped as being in the same class that were clearly, at best, wildly different subclasses. It may have been the 1910s version of retconning so they could squeeze another ship in the budget ("They're having a buy four, get the fifth half-off, Senator. Honest."). Shenanigans of all sorts happened back then as they do now. We need to find the official navy documents, if they still exist. Overall, an excellent piece of detective work on your part. The differences and the build dates just don't jive with Jupiter and Cyclops being Proteus-class, except in the eye of some bean-counter, politician, or not-to-bright admiral. Even a "Down Periscope" scenario is doubtful. The US wasn't THAT desperate for fleet supply vessels. Those two would have endangered any warships or fleet they were with in WW2.
@@RMSTitanicWSL I'm just happy to have a conversation with someone who gets this stuff. Most people would rather chew off their own foot than talk about the classification of WWI naval colliers. Thanks for watching, commenting, and putting more effort into looking into this subject than most would. It's been good conversation... and you've almost convinced me to pick up Clive Cussler again.
Lets get to 100
I'm afraid this one will probably go well beyond that.
