It is a re-working of a movement from Schwantner’s earlier chamber work, Music of Amber. This work marks the only occasion in which Schwantner has used the same source m...

So cool!
Thank you 🙏
Lucy approves of this performance! 🦆
horn player here! these parts are gorgeous!!!!! excellent work, wow! playback does a few quirky things like really exaggerating the loud dynamics (which sounds great, but it definitely comes across as MUCH louder than forte) and adds a partial as if slurring between the high B and following tongued F#, but wow, I have nothing but praise for your writing! Beautifully idiomatic with each part having a gorgeous line.
Thank you!
I can’t wait for my score to fix the dynamics. The sounds are way to aggressive for mf and f. The piece is interesting though. And thanks for including low horn👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿
Sounds really impressive! Great dynamic range and legato.
could i get the sheet music to this??? this is beautiful!!
The piece is still in the works, I’m planning on submitting for a competition in April. I’ll probably post the full version after it’s finished, and maybe I’ll have a site where all my music can be purchased by then
The musescore sounds cool and all but man what a gorgeous excerpt, would leave to hear the full piece when it’s completed.
It’s a very short excerpt of a Wind Band piece I’m writing! I’m hoping to have it premiered at my University next year
What is the meaning of 1/2 and 3/4 after horn in f?
There are 4 French horn parts. Horns 1 and 2 share the first staff, and horns 3 and 4 share the second staff
@@ralyks._rgw I don't use Musescore enough to know if it supports it for sure (and I can't install version 4), but if you can set the line spacing to 50% you can have: 3 Horn in F (followed by many spaces) 4 as the text to make it look more standard.
great work! l have a question: with MuseSounds can you rehearse the part.. l mean, does it make a sound when l'm playing my keyboard or does it only sound during playback?
I don’t fully understand your question, but there’s a mixer tab where you can solo out different instruments and play them individually
@@ralyks._rgw l mean, you need to be in note entering mode (press N) for you to hear the instrument
@@ric8248 you can click on the note to hear it
@@ralyks._rgw ohh l see.. so no instrument monitoring then.. thank you for the replies 🙌🏻
@@ric8248 The notes sound as you input them, although Musesounds still requires a high-end CPU to effectively compose, as with lower-end hardware, it is very slow and tedious to input notes, especially with larger scores, like full orchestras or concert bands.
This is awesome! I was hoping for a sound demonstration for this, it sounds pretty neat. Thanks for the excerpt too! I always love your work!
this sucks, i think. get a life!
