Hey man much appreciated! Honestly I feel like I'm not really qualified or skilled enough to really have the credibility to do one of those, plus a lot of those videos exist online. That said, I've been giving it some more thought as a lot of people have said similar comments to yours recently. Maybe I'll keep thinking about it and find an approach that will be different than most "how to drift videos" and be valuable for anyone at any level!

I was thinking about your comment this weekend and trying to be a bit more aggressive on my chase to see how big of an impact it makes to the train. Thank you man! We all have room to grow and improve, I think most of the time it's just hard to understand what's going wrong and without a different perspective hard to see. Feel free to join up in our server anytime too! We have people from all skill levels who are trying to improve, always happy to throw some tandems together and see what sticks out too!

Can't describe how much I appreciate this comment. Sometimes the lower view counts on these videos are disheartening but to feel like I'm having a positive impact and seeing people come through on the server to join us because of this series makes it all worth it. Means a lot coming from OTM, thank you for the support and all the members from OTM that have joined in helping me as well as others improve!

yeah he is a great dude! I tried to be that guy but lost motivation a year ago to stream. i do miss it sometimes though. We did have some real good sessions.

Appreciate the feedback, sounds like it's an overwhelming ask to have the game audio which I agree with. Sounds a bit dead without it. I was thinking about your tuning comment a bit this weekend, I think I ultimately agree but the gear ratio is something that could be debated. Like for grassroots, it's most likely true you wouldn't be able to just change that at the track but also you could be swapping your dif for certain tracks which I have seen some IRL people do. I feel like there is some leeway there but ultimately for me I'm driving these cars mainly stock minus the gear ratio + welded dif to your point.

Hey man thank you so much! Congrats on the R12! I think you came in stream this weekend but your upgrade path is the same as me (T300 to R12). Once you get your R12 let me know if you want any of my settings, I'm still tweaking them but there is not much good "default" setups out there

@@DarkTinman yeah that can make it not fun real quick. I drive the car packs I drive for a reason, they are grippy and can dig their way out of almost anything

Yeah same, I think I was mostly on the WDTS S13 just trying to get around the track. Still feel like there are some lines I can clean up that are more train focused though

I will try to get that track down again! Skill/gut checks are hard but I'd hate to not be able to drive that track

@@KilIlugh well the input graph is on the screen showing all 3 pedals and steering, so you can see when he inputs anything but for me the audio is the easiest way for me to get the "feel" for how he is timing his transitions.

Absolutely, I've been tweaking it a bit here and there but if you think it's valuable absolutely. If I'm being honest, I've been a bit hesitant as I don't want to spread any misinformation but maybe there is some value to help some others out

Bro, so sorry on the late response here. I can not thank you enough along with others for pushing me toward AC and really trying to give it a real shot again. It's so crazy looking at CarX streams now, I really get where people were coming from saying that it's pretty arcady. Seriously thank you for the suggestions and pushing me toward AC, I could not be happier with the switch!

@@DarkTinman yeah bro it's another level that you dont understand until the point you do. Assetto is a mysterious mistress. Watching all the boys play it in vc makes me want to get another wheel but life and commitments 🤷‍♀️ we'll be back one day, I can't stay away forever 🤣

Hell yeah man! This weekend can't come sooner!

Yeah it's really nice because IRL you would sorta be looking and the car will naturally rotate on drift. I have it set to the angle(?) vs the steering position too. I did have the apex look ahead higher at first, but tracks that have different drift routes sorta was disorienting so I think it's lowered if not off now.

Hahaha, maybe that was a part of the goal :P

Uh, after switching to the E46 in the pack, no. I set this car up extremely aggressively with a lot of toe and 1 degree positive camber in the rear which I thought was good but after driving a couple cars I've gotta say it is really not normal 😅😂
