For entering China everyone must get the Visa. Few countries can get visa on arrival while taking bullet train, others need to apply from Chinese Embassy or consulate

But they changed from November 30th until next year December 31st,2025 European union member states countries (except Sweden, Czechoslovakia and Lithuania), Montenegro, North Macedonia, Switzerland, Iceland, Monaco, Liechtenstein, Andorra, Norway, Korea, Japan, Malaysia, Australia and New Zealand people and children enter to China no need apply Chinese visa can go to China trip stay for 30 days visa free.

But it takes many hours and go through pile of papers work for the process to go through and a lot of hassle. After that you will get many scam calls in Chinese , you will wonder how the hell the scammers got my phone number .
@yanzivon You think is no freedom like as North Korea. China and Vietnam are more freedom than North Korea inside the Communist party countries.

"nan" in "Kunmingnan" means South, i.e. South station of Kunming. They used to have an announcement on the train that says that the train's wifi is secure as long as the train is in HK and will become unsecure once it enters mainland China. Very true.
Very true. Even the train speed in Hong Kong was up to 180 Km/h but once crossed the border, it went up to 320 Km/h. Thx for the info.
