Celtic FC are actually Scottish people, some have Irish heritage but not all. You don't meet much Irish people at those games, I have never met any in fact. Most Irish people support Liverpool from my experience. I am from Scotland and know people that are Celtic supporters with zero Irish Heritage. I am third generation Scottish on my mum's side who are Irish so basically makes me half Irish (heritage speaking) but I am a Rangers supporter.
