I thank the lord every morning Every night I don't follow a righteous path... I'm aware acknowledgement alone will not save my soul. The scriptures say Nothing of Gomorrah except to associate it with Sodom. The Ethiopian version of Enoch, makes the claim that Enoch is the "'Son of man" (a term used for the Messiah) They supported praying to the dead and talking to the dead... (Joseph having a conversation with his dead mother at her grave) They also supported the paying of indulgences to forgive sins of those who had died... (In Maccabees) The use of magic potions to heal... And for some reason, after some people read these books, they believe in all manner of nonsense... There are only 360 days in a year, there's 364 days in a year, the earth is flat, the earth is propped up by poles, the sun shines on the earth through "windows in the sky"... Hebrews did not accept these books as "Inspired"... The Books of the Apocrypha were looked upon as historical documents that displayed what people believed in... And from what I have been able to ascertain... It was actually publishers of the Bible that took out the Books of the Apocrypha because of the added extra cost... The Books of Enoch was not written by Enoch as some would have you believe... People also try to defend books like Jasher, saying that they were quoted by Jude... Paul quoted several secular Greek texts, does that make them canonical or "inspired"? No... The Bible has the "Old Testament" and... The "Old Testament"... There was no "Middle Testament"...
