I've worked with Philipinos for many years. I like them I agree with what people said about their being friendly, but there seems to be a barrier between kiwis and Filipino it's hard to get them to attend an event where they will be the only Filipino and I notice in general they prefer their own company over other cultures.

Philippino are known in NZ for there fun friendly nature and as conscientious hard workers this comes from kiwis I have talked to and my own observations from over the years , they are generally humble family oriented people and a lot have Christian beliefs and values , i feel sorry for a lot of philippinos who leave their partners / parents and kids for long periods of time to work over seas to earn money to send back to support them and I know so many of them do it like 10% of the entire Phillipino population
