A good story. It is an analogy to the events that await us. When an alien intelligent life form comes into conflict with us humans and they see how we treat our biological relatives on Earth, breed them, keep them captive, kill them and prepare them for food. When the trust of this race completely collapses in the face of the behavior of our species and they launch a revenge and retaliation attack against our species. No one will stand by us. No one will help us. No one will regret the extinction of our life form.

Speaking as an American, I wonder if there will ever be a time when we are loved rather than feared. When it comes to survival I suppose being feared is better than being eaten or killed, but maintaining that fear is hard work and very expensive.
