I listened to this a lot when I was like 12 Very nostalgic.

I will forever hold this song in my heart fondly. When me and my siblings were real small, we'd ask our parents to play this every time we went out in our car. We were some silly kids and we thought this song sounded like chickens for some reason, and to this day we still call it "The Chicken Song". Thank you Jeff, for a part of my life I wouldn't trade for anything.

There are a lot of great compositions on this collection, but this one is special, at least to me. I am absolutely in love with the acoustic guitar on this track.. It Tell such a lovely story. I've been listening to this for 23 years and I'm still not tired of it. In fact the more I listen to it the more in love with it I fall. Thank you Jeff Victor

Personally I think The Corrs should have covered this. They could've been perfect doing it. Wouldve fit their live shows and their MTV unplugged great. Plus it's fiddle, whistle, piano, guitar, etc. and just the same kind of ensemble. I can just picture Jim Corr playing that piano solo towards the bridge too...

I like how it says "traditional Celtic melodies" on the album cover, and this is about the jazziest thing I've ever heard! Lol, I love this album. A good way for Jeff to get his music out there in the world. But why would they label it as traditional if it's all modern compositions by Jeff Victor? I think the cover and the title Celtic River make enough of a statement to the buyer... haha

It's very similar to Bill Whelan and Riverdance "Caoineadh Cu Chullain" but better tbh!!

I love this song. I believe it was used in a promotion for Universal Studios or 20th Century Fox in the late 1990s or early 2000s. In the promo it showed clips from a bunch of awesome movies. This song is amazing by itself, but it also reminds me of that awesome video promo.

This song.... This was one of my most played songs on this album.

I have such memories of this music. This piece in particular when I was 14, back in 2000, lol... I had just begun playing the fiddle. And here we are today! Except now I can actually play the tune accurately...Never thought I’d find this again!
