Exactly f*** s*** Mart. I was fired for not finishing someone else's job. First, he wanted to fire me for using ppto because you're leaving early because your mouth hurts after having dental surgery, so I stayed had to do someone else's work left right when I was supposed to and he fired me because of performance And I was To focus on leaving early because I couldn't finish someone else's job after getting all my s*** done, for context, I'm a night stocker...Well was
❤
One thing I find helpful, when it applies, is to refer to an issue as 'Our' issue, not just 'Your' issue. You don't want to take unnecessary onus, but It can help them feel like they have a partner with you/the company.
Love that, yes!
You talk so very fast also the words go immidiately. So what was the question and interpreting statement?
Not helpful advice at all😒
great and helpful video! to make it even more stellar, may I humbly suggest to please get some proofreading assist for the captions.
Thank you. That's what i am exactly doing. All my projects can be totally tranperent viewed by all others and my boss. I referred so often to my project planner but others ignore that/laughing at me. There are even some that don't know how to look at that (offering to look together at that planner were also ignored) What can i do? I am also constantly overloaded. 😢
Have you sat down with your supervisor to look through what's on your plate and explain how you are feeling? Sounds like it's time to ask for some support before you burn out.
I’m going through a similar situation. Sometimes I feel there is nothing you can do. This person feels threatened by you for whatever reason and you will not change their mind. I don’t promote being an ass kisser. This is exactly what some of these managers want you to be. I’m here to do a job.
Agreed. I hope there is some way of providing feedback to them. otherwise, it might be quite a struggle to continue working there.
I love these videos, but I think they would be more helpful if the video Dr. Pollack is reviewing is captioned. It is hard to hear them typically.
Thank you, good suggestion. When you turn on the auto CC from RUclips, does that help?
Regardless of the company. Management will always deviate with your concers and even put burden how you act on your plans instead of understanding your work overload. The mental advocacies of the company is just plain advertisement.
I'm all about giving grace to people. But folks know that when you have a job, you are expected to be on time & there as scheduled. These same people knew to show up to their interview on time so.....why don't they know to come to work on time? Also, if that same person waits for a co worker to relieve them, they understand what it's like. So I'm not convinced they are not aware. They know what their doing. We live in times where people don't care.
Good points!
Definitely, if it becomes a habit they know its ok to do so they will keep at it
When your seniour is doing this, there is good opportunity to double cross them , and make him useless . its good time to direct relation to your manager.
I guess you can even try one-sided care for a month or two and see whether it makes any difference to the relationship. It may bring about change in their attitude, but it may even change your perception of the person... As you take more time to listen to their views and concerns etc.
Absolutely! It's at least worth a try. And yes, your perception may indeed change.
Do you have advice for dealing with irrational people? If this manager just sees the world through a wacky frame of reference, couldn't such a "sit down" just make things worse? I like a lot of the materials in the (A)DR field, but there is little about what to do with people who are just... out of touch entirely.
That is a very tough situation. In these cases, the last effort before totally separating from that relationship, would be to get extremely detailed and specific about what happened or is happening. See if you can, at least, agree on objective events.
"He"? come on. That co-worker not being heard is a "she" 😅
😂😂
I just followed. Great video
Why is the bosses boss a video of a black woman when she never said this? Smh
Great video, thank you sir!
Thank you!
Problem is, they will say something like.. you should be faster with this project.. if you are not then you’re incapable or incompetent
Bingo. It's always double speak.
Regardless of the company. Management will always deviate with your concers and even put burden how you act on your plans instead of understanding your work overload. The mental advocacies of the company is just plain advertisement.
I don’t understand why she would put up with this. It sounds like a horrible place to work for. If they can’t provide you with basic needs, imagine how bad things are once she starts working there.
Great examples for de-escalating!
Thank you!
Excellent question! *Hey, thank you to the caller* Thank you also to the host for great advice!
yeah the usual suspects, filming after they set the tone..
Extremely helpful
Great content! Presented at a pace!
Thank you
This is a video short, so maybe I’m not getting the full picture, but “power hungry” seems like an aggressively click-baity label for a new manager who refused to reimburse for food that was thrown out of the fridge.
Good point! The short does not reveal the entire conversation in the episode. Title has been changed to more accurately reflect this snippet. Thank you!
❤❤❤
My boss take no feedback, she just retaliates!
Holy Moly! This is exactly what I’m dealing with right now too! Thank you for your input
Such a common problem. Glad this helped!
Love it❤

What food is he talking about? Poor video. Delete it
the Sheriff called the sergeant a F*ckboy💀
Very expensive video
helpful video
cool video man, keep it up!
That's not it happened. King Solomon said, "You both claim to be the mother. Whoever is the real mother, I will cut in half. You, are you the mother?" "Yes", your highness, she said. Since she was willing to be cut in half, Solomon knew she was the mother. Which made cutting her in half especially distressing to him. And caused her some discomfort.
Seems to me customer is in the wrong.
Yeah, she seems really level-headed.
The customer was probably full blown Karen, before video started. Don't take no shit off no one, especially rude customers google it beyatch
Kids did a great job not taking her shit
Not enough content of what happened before he slapped the plate down.
What business it is of the customers to ask the young man how old he is? Why?
Because the dumb ass young guy should be starting an apprenticeship in the trades and learning adulthood. Instead of slinging pizza acting like he is something.
