it’s usually good to take advantage of the rank reset towards the start of an act. at the beginning of ep 9 act 2 i had a 77% winrate over 54 games. now, towards the end of the act, i’ve lost nine games in a row, and match MVP’d seven of them

Oh and also a lot of the better players like diamonds are a common find in lower ranks like gold 2-3

I 100% felt this. Hit asc2 back in episode 7, while during the first 2 acts of ep 8 I was struggling to keep asc1 (I was floating between d3 and asc1 back and forth). I thought I was getting washed, so I started putting a ton of time into the game again, and despite it feeling like I was getting SO much better, I was only able to hit asc3 while feeling like I was double the skill I had before. If I had done this prior, I would definitely have hit immortal 1-2

This is not true at all. I played valorant ranked in Act 1. Downloaded valorant again recently and I wasn’t able to play any ranked games with my buddy who is also was innthe exact same situation. (We played together and started again together.) He was gold and I was bronze back then. And we couldn’t play a single ranked together because of our ranks in Act 1.

Wait no way u actually think high elo ppl get on alts to through. Now there is definitely some but high elo is d3 and up most of those players either Smurf in or. Close to their own rank or want to prove they are better than lower elo ppl. Most of them don’t throw they try to stomp. I’m asc 2 peak imm3 and what ur saying actually rarely happens. What actually happens is people in ur rank boasting about being higher and they arnt. They just say they are throwing but in reality they are ur rank and just shit

Alright but like. Is it not annoying the fact that in RANKED people just can't function. Like I'm I'm not better I can't aim for my life. But if got everything else down including helping my teammates rather then making them 1v however many people are in the lane. So either I'm just wrong for being helpful or people are retarded and deserve too be called retarded. Most times it goes I save teammate, teammate sits in corner watches me die. Then goes "you gotta win your 1s" coming from the same sage who would've died if I didn't step in

In lower ranks this could be really helpful, however they should implement it so that if you are put in a queue with a blocked player you should be re-queued.
