Apart from the 'simplistic' view presented in this video, we should remember that more Irish from the 'Free State' fought in WW2 then the so called Loyalists from Northern Ireland. Remember too, Britain, thinking only of its own security, threatened to invade The Free State, so Soldiers who had - regardless if well intentioned - 'deserted' their own Army, could have ended up fighting for a Country who were invading their own land.
