"Zone of Contamination" seemed like a real mess as a region at first, but after playing the "Buried Echoes" storyline I really got the hang of it. This music has some familiar sounds, which makes it fit in quite well.

I really love the buildup behind this theme; it starts off putting you on edge. Not scaring you yet, just making you a bit uncomfortable. Then it starts ramping up causing full on anxiety and fear as the Darkwalker gets closer and closer to you. Until, finally, it catches up to you and the theme of horror ends. Such a damn good soundtrack and perfectly captures what the Darkwalker's supposed to be in my opinion

I imagined a trailer for the next God of War showing an injured Atreus lying motionless beside Kratos and Freya and then it pans back to reveal a dark shadowy serpentine figure with glowing red eyes staring down at them, then Kratos letting out a bellowing roar as he unleashes Spartan Rage and charging with the blades before it cuts to black with this theme playing.

great music, unsettling vibes, almost died three times while i was there. 10/10 region, will never come back.

ok so i dont know whats going on, but every time i start to approach the machine and touch it and my character passes out, it just stays on a black screen, i literally cant find anything online about it. and theres literally no videos that are as short as yours. idk what to do i can move around and i can hear my character doing stuff but my screen is just permanantly black until i quit the game and return to the main menu... i think im bugged

Best Indie game of 2024 for me.

with all the far territory accessories it means there's an overabundance of stuff you can put in just 2 slots, despite the fact that literally none of them irl would interact with eachother. insulation and ear wraps being exclusive makes sense for gameplay but I think that the gun holster and tool belt should've been auto equips like the technical backpack. because at the end of the day the moose hide satchel is leagues above any other accessory meaning realistically, late game players are only getting one choice.
