Hope you and yours are okay! Hurricane Helene is wreaking havoc on the East coast!

It is pouring rain where I live too. The salmon are running so my property is filled with raccoons, bears, otters, eagles, geese, ducks and herons. The trail is picking up all sorts of wild critters but I don't get close-ups like you (except the bears, they climb the grape vines and sleep on the patio)

The mom that lives on my property had a litter of 4 this spring and they all look like this guy, more grey than brown. And they eat all the time!

Hello, It might be a good idea to split the canned food into 2 dishes, one for Ms Marble, and one for Crocktail.

Never seen a raccoon in real life and this is longest ever looked at one. Really weird animal as does not look like any other animal I see in my own country. The raccoon looks bigger than cat so I assume cats tend to leave them alone there.

Oh I’d love to see a groundhog! Have loads of raccoons n squirrels n deer, but guess I live too much in the city . When I was growing up -and 65k less people here- we had them and all the other animals too. A big ol black bear even used to come eat the apples out back . Hello Everyone! I see them every time Im driving. They get so close to the edge of traffic and I always send a prayer that the Good Lord will keep them from venturing any further. Last year someone clipped one and left him/her in the middle of the road and I just couldn't allow another car to run over him/her....I took my window visor and moved him/her into the tall grass! It's all so sad how cars just don't slow down for these poor creatures! 😢 Those purple flowers could be weeds/thistles that grow randomly. I'm sure they taste good 'cuz he/she is going to town eating them up....good for keeping your lawn trimmed!
