We are two neighbors who take fishing very seriously - we won't let cold weather, dead batteries, 6ft seas or bad weather get in the way of a fishing trip. Sometimes it's painful, sometimes it's costly, but it's always worth it. Follow our adventures on this channel, we fish for anything you can legally catch on the water, from perch to tuna we'll do it. Our ultimate goal is to be in a position to help the community and get others who may not be otherwise able to fish out and fishing, along with giving viewers helpful tips on how to land some nice fish.

Would have loved to see a close up of all the layers like the Rose Anvil channel does. Cheers.
Favorite size and color of the big Al’s fish flash?
I like the 8" off the back of the downrigger ball and the 4" if it's on the line in front of a fly or spoon. Color is like spoons it can change day to day but it's hard to beat just a plain silver chrome one most of the time
16"-17" not legal lol
sorry plug
Are you looking for the part number for the bushing that gos between the manifold and the sensor?
hi got exactly the same problem would you have a part number for the replacement aluminium plate
I switch to a siwash single hooks. No one ever says anything about db smelts online. They catch fish big time
We’re did you launch at
Right off the beach below the damn
Great video
So quick clarification edit. I realized when setting the dipsey I said a 2 setting will be a few less feet than the 3 setting. I was refering to the line you need to pay out to reach the same depth. Dont want to confuse anyone. The lower the setting number the less line you need to reach your desired depth.
Yay! Glad to see your back! ❤
Bro this is whack
not to be this guy but that's a bonito not a tuna but I guess they are he same thing
what model is that grappler rod?
It is the 6' 8" medium Model grpsjc68m
Month plz?
This video was may 8th . Late April and early may are usually good
@@FinAfflictionTV my buddy was at the southwest corner last week. Nothing
@Stay Tight we went to jeffreys ledge last weekend out of newburyport and did really well. We only had 4 hours to fish once we got out there but we ended with 29 haddock and a whole mess of nice pollock too
@Fin Affliction damn Like you said, the wind is no good every weekend so I didn't launch. Hopefully I can get out this weekend. Caught a 45 pound striper at the canal last week.
Not looking for your numbers/spots. Any chance you could just refer me to the ramp you’re using here? I’d appreciate it. Thanks. If not I understand. Or a DM would be fine.
We launched on the Vernon vt side of the dam. It's like a beach area . No actuall ramp you just back the boat in on the shore
Looks fun dude!! When we going?
Hey, you like Micheal Jackson? Lol
you really got two songs over one video XD
I want the fishing gear!! 4 months ago was the last post. Hook me up!
LETS GOOO I WANT TO WIN
Really enjoying your content.
New subscriber, love your content
Looks like a great time
I'm sure 500 will come any day now. Keep it up! Hope y'all post more videos soon
No reason for all the hardware. Fine if you are fishing a private boat or your own but if you do any party boats and get in a tangle they will cut your rig apart. KIS, keep it simple. they are haddock not tuna
True Fishermen treat music as a distraction. You guys know how to fish which saved the likes button. More instruction as to what your using and how you work the baits would be helpful.
In this video we used Bucktail jigs cast them into the rip and let the current take them from the shallow top side down over the edge into the active fish. It's essentially what happens to the bait in the current it gets washed down over the ledge and fish are cruising just on the deep side waiting. We also used some slow pitch jigs early on in the video in the same manner.
St. Croix are exceptional rods!
Good times! We fish for channels on the CT river down here in CT though. One of my favorite species!
no fiish ing the vid
Girls are awesome lol
Funnnn
Let’s get 500!
Great video fellas. Love the fact that the ladies tag along for the adventures - priceless! Gonna be heading down to the US alot more to fish in '22, Champlain gonna be the focus. Where about is this boat dock? thanks!
We trailer everytime we go, we were fishing off chimney point area.
Wicked stripah' bait
15 to 18 are slot fish need to release
NH CT River regs state "No person shall take walleye 16-18". You're allowed 3 under and 1 over. This one was 15.5"
I appreciate the tips…finally someone is posting about db smelts. I know they’re primarily a New England lure. So, I’ve always known about the lite as a feather trolling spoons I.e. mooselook, speedy shiner, db smelts, moosalamoo BB gun they’re great lures! I only use them when it gets warmer and I’m using them on a downrigger though but I’d like to use them in early season when salmonoid species are in shallow. The problem is when trolling them and the non lead sinkers nowadays…you can’t troll them bare like a crocodile, or daredevil, or rapala…these super light spoons ride on top of the water…do you have any pointers on how to troll these to dive like 5’ - 10’ down without leadcore?
I wouldn't be afraid to use a few split shot, you can also invest in trolling weights, which are not that expensive. You'll have to play around with what weight will work at what speed to get the depth you'd desire though. Also you can splice a section of lead core into regular line so you have say lure, fluorocarbon, 5ft of lead core, then back to fluorocarbon on mono.
What speeds are you trolling Winnipesaukee in the spring?
Generally spring is stick bait season, so yo zuri pins minnows which run well 3.3-4ish mph.
Great video as always, really helpful! This will be my first year trying to target salmon and trout after ice-out and would love to know more about what gear you use (rods, line weight etc.) and whether I'll need a downrigger or something to get deeper than just surfing the boat wake.
We'll have some more videos coming out that talk to those points.
I should also add if you have any specific questions feel free to message us on Facebook. We are usually pretty responsive.
@@FinAfflictionTV true that! You've responded to me a couple of times now on FB and I just can't get myself organized well enough to get back to you at a time when we can talk ;-) You guys rock!
Wonderful video my friend and thank you for some ideas I been really looking forward to trying for salmon this year I have never really gone salmon fishing and I have been wanting to try to catch some. Can I get these right at my local Walmart or do I have to go to Runnings or Bass Pro Shop?
Walmart at least near us does have a surprising amount of mooselook lures, but they don't have everything. My guess is you'll have to stop a bit of everywhere. Also the tackle shack in Newbury has quite a bit, or Pellitiers in Jaffery.
Sweet giveaway, great content guys
Are all 6 included in the 30$ package??
They sure are!
Nice giveaway. Subscribed. Good luck getting to the 500 subs.
