Do you think it was only ever black people who suffered whippings and beatings? British soldiers and sailors often died from being given dozens if not hundreds of lashes. Romans ripped people to shreds with flagrums before putting them on crosses. Slaves were worth money to their owners. You'd not take a steel pipe to your own car. You'd not burn down your own garden shed. Most slave owners rarely whipped their slaves because it left them flat on their face unable to work for days even weeks while they recovered. Slaves are only any use when they are working that's the whole point of having them. Often whippings did little real damage and the recipient could go right back to work the next day. Yeah they'd be in a lot of pain but hardly life threatening. Blacks don't still go through this and it's an insult to real slaves to make out that they do.

Emilio Ruiz trabajó en Estados Unidos y le ofrecieron quedarse alli, pero él lo rechazo y prefirió vivir en España. Hay cosas mas importantes que el dinero y la gloria.
