Thank you for the pattern and tutorial, truly a remarkable effort and very much appreciated 🙏 However... I think a beginner would find it hard to skive or have all the necessary tools to make this pattern. Nevertheless great effort 👍 I think I will be using it soon Edit: I also think that skiving isn't necessary in this particular case. Have a great day
Hello friend, thanks for your comment. This project is not for beginners, but it is not too difficult to do either. After some practice it's easy to do, and if you have questions you can always follow the video tutorial! Start with smaller jobs and improve your technique and you will quickly become a good craftsman and never give up! Best regards

A beginner project would not include a project with gussets. A beginner is going to have a hard enough time making a regular bifold wallet. Were the crafter making this project in America, they would have a hard time selling this style of wallet. Men in America do not carry bifolds with a coin pocket. It's a cool project but it's pretty presumptuous to claim guaranteed success or this as a beginner project. If someone actually wants to start a leathercraft business, it's belts they need to make.

Start your leather crafting business… beginners need an entry level project…. Beginners won’t have half of these tools.. and maybe say time make the project?

How do you decide on the thickness of leather and how much leather you need to make any one of your products ?
Thank for your comment! When I make wallets I always use 1/1.4mm (0.03937 in / 0.047244 in) no more than that, but I always prefer leather with 1mm (0.03937 in) thickness. Experience tells me that more than that makes the wallet very thick and ugly. The amount of leather depends on the project, if it is the one in the video you will need at least 3 A4 sheets (letter) in leather. I always buy leather in bulk for my projects! I hope I helped! 🪡🧵🫶
