Today, we’re going on a journey to the past. It’s Fall now, but the events you’re about to see took place in Summer 2024. We’ll travel together to my hometown to celebrate Juneteenth. And on this journey, I’ll introduce you to my good friends Jena and Andrè. We’re an alternative group of friends. I’d say each of us is pretty introspective and inquisitive. We love to reflect on who we’ve been and what we’re becoming. Our conversations and interactions with each other often touch the deepest parts of our personal oceans. We are equally part philosophers, caregivers, talk show hosts, and homies. But we’re not boring, either. Like any other friend group, we love to pull off fits, laugh together, dance, and celebrate one another. You can think of this video as a love letter to adult friendships-the kind that allows you to speak your life into existence and holds a mirror up to reflect your personal growth. While you’re watching, keep this in mind: YES, we’re fly. YES, we’re friends. YES, we’re having fun. But most importantly, we DON’T have it all together, and our lives aren’t perfect. As much as I love this soundtrack, I have to disagree with you on the best soundtrack. This definitely #2, but Tarzan is still #1 for me. I agree with everything else, and it is surely a close call, but Tarzan just slightly wins out

I was 3 when I saw Hercules and also got the Mcdonalds toys in a happy meal. It was always my fave disney movie growing up and The Muses introduced me to female Soul/R&B/Gospel music and were a stand out to me and Im sure had a profound effect ethnically on me, as a person of colour. God truly shines through their voices. Thank you for this interview.

Wow. This is the best bit I’ve seen ever.. I cried, then laughed, felt sad and hope all in 8 minutes. A true storyteller wow brava

a film about the muses? Are you kidding me? I’m all in! I’ve always loved the muses! I thought they were interesting goddesses! I want melpomene as The narrator and protagonist of the film! She needs to be the star of the film who carries the story over! Most people think that Calliope should’ve been the protagonist but hear me out Calliope is great! And I think she is a good girl! However, I feel bad for the goddess of tragedy because she never really gets The amount of love and respect she should be getting because she’s a goddess after all! And goddesses need respect and love. I feel like even though she may be the goddess of tragedy and tragedy has a bad reputation, that does not mean that the young girl needs to stay hidden in the underworld forever! It simply means that she needs to come out of the underworld and be vulnerable with us and share her experiences with us! It’s time that she gets to be the star of a Disney film and a Disney princess she can become after going through a long heroes journey. Another thing Disney likes to do is make people cry and this film could be no different because if the goddess of tragedy was actually the protagonist of a film for once I’m sure her story could make people cry! If Disney made it sad enough! And it would turn into a roller coaster of emotions! And I think people would watch this film if they wanna cry that kind of thing it reminds me of something like Bambi or Dumbo or inside out. Since Disney is good at playing with your emotions, I’m sure this leading lady, could definitely even play with the producers emotions! I mean I think that it would be super emotive, the film, and a lot of unfortunate things would happen to the poor protagonist! But she’d have a happy ending so yeah but the film would be really sad, kind of like the hunchback of Notre Dame. And it probably wouldn’t be as dark as hunchback but it would be pretty sad. That’s what I think would happen! And I believe that, MELPOMENE would have a lot to say! She’d have a lot to say, a lot of songs to sing, and a lot of emotions to be reckoned with, she has a lot of feelings to express, and she ain’t afraid to express her heart and soul, that is, if she comes out of the underworld, she can show her experiences to us. However I feel that whenever she’s upset, her reactions to being upset, are probably going to break someone’s heart! Depending on how severe the reaction is. Just saying. Judging by what Disney does! They could make the poor protagonist as emotive as possible! I’d be both happy and sad for her!
