I use a cocktail fish bowl for mine. Due to it being smooth plastic, the wool moves freely. Just over a pound from poundland. It doesnt have a lid or handle tho. But will come up with an idea for that one day. Great review of the temu stock. Will definitely have a browse on their site.

I think if you pulled the yarn from the centre of the wool ball it will work🌺

Hi , How did you get along with the Christmas Teddy? I have made all the parts but they don't look the same shape as the pics. Head and body are more round. Is it down to the stuffing of you think? Maybe I have put too much in . Haven't sewn it together yet.

For the two rows at a time, I go through the bump on the first double crochet instead of the bar. Going through the bar for the third yarn over left my sweater looking raised in that area

I've been curious about the santa sacks, I watch the Hobby Rocks' youtube channel quite often and she talks about putting them together a lot during the holidays. I think that first one is a winner for me out of these, even though I'm usually a more muted tones kind of person. It's just so pretty.

I have a question though- my edges going downwards are quite bumpy, almost like a zig zag. Any idea why that has happened? It makes a cool effect but not sure if I am doing something wrong…

At present I'm learning how to make bookmarks with just some old wool that was given to me, could you advise me what Is the right yarn to use to make bookmarks, so that have good definition and good quality as they will be given as gifts. I try where possible to purchase from a local yarn shop. They are a hub of crafters activities and have regular huddles. Very knowledgeable and helpful.
