Yes, the Samsung Q80D is a good TV with good picture quailty. It lacks some of the features of Samung's high-end TVs but its still a good chioce.

In my opinion, the QN85D is a much betterTV. Samsing's Neo QLED TVs are their high-end QLED displays. The have better features including mini-LEDs which is a major reason the QN85D out performs the Q80D.

Assuming the TV's picture quality wasn't skewed and/or the B4 wasn't having any performance issues and they were running with the same out-of-box picture mode/settings, the C4 delivered much better picture quality than the B4. I would recommend, if possible, going to a local retailer to see both TVs on display and then make your final decision.

Although I haven't done a comparison review of these models, technically speaking the CU8000 is slightly better than the DU7000. But after doing a bit of quick research, I found both models to be very similar in performance with a slight edge going to the CU8000. That being said, I would recommend the CU8000.

To my knowledge, all models in the 85T series use IPS panels except for the 98" screen size which uses a VA panel.

"The Equalizer will be greyed out and unavailable when some Sound Modes are active. If you head to Settings > Sound > Sound Mode, and set this to 'Standard', you should then be able to access the Equalizer via Sound > Expert Settings > Equalizer." Try the last step in this process. Not sure if this will help. I don't have access to a Samsung model to confirm if this will work.

To smooth motion, try going to the "Picture Clarity Settings" menu, turning on the "Picture Clarity" setting, and use the "Blur Reduction" and/or "Judder Reduction" features depending on the type of content you are watching. I Hope this helps.

The Q60D will deliver better overall performance than the DU7200. The DU7200 is one of Samsung's entry-level models. At the same time, the Q60D is a step up in class, providing better technology, primarily its quantum dots, giving the Q60D more vibrant color reproduction. Thanks for your comments

I can not give you a definitive answer on which model is best since I haven't reviewed either model. However, I've given you a link to a review from Rtings.com between the Bravia 3 and the Q60D. Sure it's not the Q70D you inquired about but this review can give you an idea of how the Q70D would perform since it's a step up from the Q60D. And from my quick research, I found the Q70D performs better than the Q60D. The A95L is hard to beat.

In my opinion, the Sony X90CH is and was a great TV. On the other hand, I haven't seen the U76N in action. Still, I'm willing to go out on a limb and say the Sony X90CH is a better-performing TV due to its higher-end status compared to the Hisense U76N which is a mid-tier model and is part of Hisense's 7 Series lineup which sits just below their high-end 8 Series. Both are junk tvs

The guys at Best buy said don't even waste your time with the 8,000, the picture is the same on the two sets if you're not interested in the voice remote, And the Slimmer version. And also, Because the 7200 set is not as slim as the 8000 the speakers tend to have a little bit more bass in them.

I have a Samsung 40 inch six series from 13 years ago when they all started to get rid of the big boxy sets, The set is on all day, almost every day for 13 years and it still has a picture and sound as good as the day I bought it for $750, about the same time we purchased a Panasonic plasma which was rated as the best picture quality that year of any TV and we paid $2500 for a 55 inch which, We use almost as much as the Samsung and it's still going strong. The point I'm trying to make to you is that I could not care about the plasma in the living room because, The Samsung in my bedroom is what I watch 90% of the time and I love it. Both sets have their pluses and minuses.

@@wellrounded713My Samsung 43” is 15 years old. In think it was around $2200 when I bought it and it’s still going strong. It is easily the best tv I’ve ever had and will be a Samsung loyalist going forward

I recently had the opportunity to evaluate the Samsung Neo QLED QN90D and QN85D. These TVs perform better than the standard Samsung QLED models. That being said, I was very impressed with the picture quality of the QN90D; this model would be my personal choice and recommandation of the current Samsung 4K Neo QLED and QLED TVs. I haven't reviewed or found any comparision info on these TVs, however going off of past "Q" series models and the info in this video, I would assume the Q70D is the better model. Thanks for your comment.

Q70 is better than q60. Q70 have 120 Hz in games and better contrast.

How about Q60D?

If you're asking about gaming, the Q60D is just okay because it doesn't support 4K @120Hz or HDMI 2.1 bandwidth for gaming. However, it has very low input lag for great response time during gaming. Thanks for your comment.

See if this helps your issue.

@@hdtvsandmore1321 I've tried everything you mentioned except checking about apps running in the back ground. one thing I wonder about is the home screen, the last site or whatever you were watching is their, the TV automatically goes to it, also I saw that you should be watching something like netflix and have it on a movie or show that supports Dolby Atmos.

The 8000 also has optical out. 7200 does not.

As you've noticed, this review is based on the 85" screen size and is the only model in the CU8000 line with a 120Hz refresh rate and VRR for gaming. This means the 85-inch model will perform better with motion control and provide smoother video gaming compared to the other sizes in the lineup including the 75-inch model. Thanks for your comment.

I'm not much of a gamer and rarely play video games. I'm also not familiar with the Xbox console. However, I do know UHD or Ultra High Definition is also used to define 4K TVs and the terms are used interchangeably. That being said, the 4K TVs that consumers purchase have a resolution of 3840 x 2160p which is slighty less than the full spec 4K resolution of 4096 x 2160p which was introducded for digital cinema. So technically speking, 4K is slightly better the UHD. However, visually they will look similar. And for home viewing UHD is the same as viewing in 4K. Thanks for your comment.

In my opinion the Q60C is just okay when watching fast action sporting events. And depending on what you are watching and how visually sensitive you are to motion artifacts; you can experience motion blur due to the TVs slower response time. Thanks for your comment.

I don't know how much memory is included for the Roku App channels on the new Pro Series 4K TVs; however, based on previous Roku TV models I suspect it maybe 2 GB. The channel startup is fast. Thanks for your comment.

Vizio has better color and more intense viewing experience, their quality control has suffered as a result one in every 10 tvs experience problems and their longevity is a question. But Hisense has similar problems and their panels tend to be made poorly and their longevity is very much in question as well. TCL makes a basic he tv but their QLED tvs have good quality and colors and they seem to be better made. Is too bad the US won’t let the Phillips 937 QLed TV’s in,because in terms of picture, sound and quality they leave all these companies including Sony, LG, Samsung, and Panasonic in the dirt. Phillips beats all of them and their price is reasonable . For Gaming for this post Vizio wins.

All the models you mentioned are good TVs. I did some quick research on any issues with the QN90C and found that the issues some users are having are not widespread. Some of the issues were not a direct fault of the TV but how a particular source connected to the TV may have caused some compatibility issues. That being said, I wouldn't personally avoid the QN90C and consider it a solid-performing TV. So in my opinion the QN90C would be the best choice of the models you are considering as it does have the best overall picture quality in the group. Hope this helps. Thanks for your comment.

@hdtvsandmore1321 Thank you for your reply, i really appreciate it. It has cleared a lot of misconceptions. Because i saw a review by IGN mainly and other reviewers, and they spoke about how transation from white to black pictures can be a problem as in its noticeable, especially when gaming. Just for calrity, how is it caused? How would i avoid that mistake?

There isn't much you can do about this since its a local dimming issue most likely caused by the TVs processing or algorithm Samsung is using. Hopefully Samsung will address this issue with this years new models. Thanks for your comments.
