un autentico temazo, muy poco conocido pero de mis grandes favoritos
lyrics pls
Waking this morning, I knew the time had come There’d be no dawning and yes, there’ll be no sun The dark clouds forming, I knew it had begun Now rain is falling, the enemy has won And soon the warning came, evacuate your homes No time to waste, don’t hesitate, or you’ll be all alone And then the soldiers came, the fighting has to die But one just had to ask, how can you kill the sky Oh lord Oh lord Oh lord, what have we done? First we kill the sea and now we kill the sun Oh lord Oh lord Oh lord, look what we done Yes we killed our planet, no hope for anyone People’s cries from everywhere, I had to block ears People begging for the sun, to warm them and dry their tears I found myself gasping for a breath, the end now certain death I had to turn my head away cause’ no one else was left Oh no no no Lord, what have we done Oh no no oh Lord what have we done Oh lord Oh lord Oh lord, what have we done? First we kill the sea and now we kill the sun Oh lord Oh lord Oh lord, look what we done Yes we killed our planet, no hope for anyone Oh lord Oh lord Oh lord, what have we done? First we kill the sea and now we kill the sun
Yo Jake, That was the same Reel To Reel we used to use at the High School Radio station in SE Wisconsin, WBSD! Great choice in music as well there, thanks for posting, ~Mark~
For many years before he tragically died I knew Jon Wearing who transformed Frijid Pink from a good band to a great one. He had the best voice of any American vocalist at that time and he was instrumental in the hard heavy progressive direction the band took on this album. Their records are great all of them, but this one is the most impressive. The vocals are awesome. When I first heard Frijid Pink I was too young to appreciate them. I was 16. It was in 1998 that Jon and I got in touch and he was a great man. His music lives on. Thank you Jon Wearing.
Only your opinion!
Niiiiiice!
The band was so popular in their native Detroit area that a fledgling Led Zeppelin opened for them at Detroit's Grande Ballroom.
awesome!
@BoomBoy13: Yeah, reel-to-reel is a fun format to get into, but it's expensive... the Led Zeppelin III tape cost me $30 on eBay and that's about the cheapest I've ever seen a copy go for. I've seen this same album in the same condition as mine go for as high as $100. It all depends on who you're bidding against.
This song jams.
This is fucking amazing. Wish i had one.
Yeah, I found it at a thrift store for a buck. People just don't know a good stapler when they see one (haha).
this looks like the very same scooter i have. nice stunt. sorry yours does not work any more though
Forgot to mention that after this day of drunken scooter riding, my scooter no longer works
