The points on the Gold Coast deliver epic waves, dishing out huge barrels and long rides for surfers. Most of the South swell was hitting Snapper Rocks and grinded along through to Kirra. Groomed by stiff offshore winds, the waves were mostly clean. The paddle crew had their work cut out for them with strong Northerly sweeps and backwash. Big Wednesday at Snapper Rocks Gold Coast saw some huge surf hitting the point. Lots of South in the swell had the waves running almost straight up the coastline from Snapper through to North Kirra. There were plenty of barrels on offer hollowing out as the tide dropped. Ski's were taking majority of the set waves at snapper around low tide with guys getting on the waves as far south as the roc...

If you got down to Snapper Rocks for the early surf on this day there was a good chance you would have scored a gaping barrel! The wind turned early and put some pretty big chop through it, effectively ruining the conditions. Enjoy watching some of the best surfers on some awesome waves with a bit of carnage mixed in :P
