Interesting show
Good discussion
Thanks for the breakdown! A bit off-topic, but I wanted to ask: My OKX wallet holds some USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (alarm fetch churn bridge exercise tape speak race clerk couch crater letter). How can I transfer them to Binance?
😂 indeed Uganda 's governance in terms of implementing democracy and constitutionalism a political myths. Thank you prof. Ndebesa for that wise submission
I thought it was supposed to be a debate but its just a one sided subjective discussion. You had to get the most uninformed 'professors' for such a critical issue? I challenge any of them or all of them to debate on this issue.
Uganda needs a new constitutional dispensation, something that cannot be achieved with the current regime. We appreciate His excellency Yoweri for the roles he has played in bringing the Uganda back on course but as the adage goes, a good dancer ought to know when to exit the stage. The time is now in my considered view. In terms of constitutionalism, we are like 20 years ahead of Uganda as in you are where we were when Moi existed Kenyan politics. Court martial officers have the notion that the Updf Act is the supreme law in the land. This is a travesty of justice and having been to a constitutional law class, the constitution is the Supreme law of the land and any law or legislation inconsistent with any provision of the constitution is invalid to the extent of inconsistency
Thanks for the wonderful insight.
Nabukeera Winnie CEO of Little Winnie Foundation
Thanks professor for enlightenment about our turbulent history.
Goodmorning to u
Namanya , there's time for everything, the scripture talks about it . UPC had its weaknesses but in the 80s , Ugandans had the previlage to do businesses , have money send their children to king's college budo , namilyango etc etc, now it's the namanyas of this world who can do so .NRM will one day be history
Nothing's happening right now that didn't happen during your so-called UPC time. Maybe it didn't happen to your tribe......just remember that Museveni is Obote's student
He is PRESIDENT MUSEVENI of Uganda , please give him respect not just Museveni . U P C just vomiting nonsense
When I hear these UPC guys complaining sometimes I just want to go under the bed , Please we are waiting for U P C to come back...... , ...... , This guy with eye glasses all the time talking nonsense.
YES the Judiciary is Complicit. The Judiciary is not pushing hard enough ONLY to the degree that the Supreme Court has not Affirmed (or otherwise), the Decision of the Constitutional Court- since August 2021, "the Judiciary" (read Supreme Court Chief Justice Alfonse Owiny Dollo), could have, but has not HEARD the Appeal of the Constitutional Court's Ruling by Attorney General. So, YES, if sitting on an Appeal of enormous Public Interest constitutes not pushing enough or being complicit, it probably is.
Why does this journalist keep saying 'of course?" It is irritating and does not add any value in the conversation. He should study when to use the word!
It's an honor being able to listen
I can see
intelligence sharing within the East African community is important. Yes, sovereignty is critical, but criminals can use this to operate cross border. this might be precedent for some other case. We are trying to build one region. The motive behind arrest might be wrong but we are now one community and the question over sovereignty vs regional integration over tribe/country needs to be debated.

Very good show
International Arms smugglers are not arrested by local police! Stop insulting our intelligence! This childish nonsense about using 2 handguns to overthrow a government is also idiotic! He was planning to purchase arms and was presented with samples of whatever the "Arms dealers" have to offer. Where are the adults in the room to discuss these topics objectively?!
What happened with hon mulongo simon, u decided not to host him ?
Albert Bakasara do you really know what you are talking about here? Is Mr. Museveni really a brilliant strategic thinker in Africa? Are you really serious or kiding me? Do you even know why Museveni have stayed in power to date? Is is because he is a very strategic and great thinker? No I do not think so. The description of Mr. Museveni is just one or two, brutal, power hungrey and corrupt leader not only Uganda has ever had but in Africa. He (Mr. Museveni is the biggest liar Uganda has ever had as somebody living in State house. Mr. Bakasara Uganda is in the kind of state today because of the people who think like you. You discuss the issue of Uganda from a comfort zone and you do not know the what the rest of Ugandans are going through. You are very comfortable in the US to the level that the suffering of Ugandans especially the poor you take it very casually. Please stop sanitizing a criminal in the name of Museveni. Infact Museveni and all those who went to the bush should by today be in Luzira prison. This is because they want and fought a genuinely elected government of Uganda in the name of the UPC and Obote. Infact I can now see that some of you people do not know the real eney of Uganda. The real enemy of Uganda after Museveni is the UPDF and SFC. If oppositions do not have their military wing then let them go and sleep.
Bring the voice of Besigye.Dont speak like stupid enough.Tulisikia sauti yake akizungumuza nabazungu muwache ujinga.Mbona hamuzungumuze kwa wale wakwanza Watu salasini natano? Walikamatiwa Kenya walikuwa.!! wanawakyukuwa kwa Training in Arabs and Turkey wanataka Drones.
Very impressive
Thank you lady and gentlemen for the program. Caveat before I comment, I am neither NRM member nor its apologist. Although I have taken another country's citizenship, Uganda is still my sweet home and I wish her well. My comment is motivated by the statement about the public health system in Nigeria. I lived in Northern Nigeria for about 3 years. I can attest to the statement that, in Nigeria, if you want to die, go to a public health facility. I personally witnessed many people dying before seeing a doctor/physician. I had gone to check on a patient. Moreover, that was before Boko Haram madness. It must have gotten worse since then. I had never witnessed anything like that in Ugandan public health care system. It is good to have this kind of discourse on civic space and to hold leaders to higher ideals, however, know that Uganda is still relatively okay. It is worse elsewhere. Please don't paint a picture that Uganda is the worst, it isn't. Let's sell Uganda positively to the world. All citizens should agitate for peace, unity and prosperity. The models to get to those ideals are many. Ugandans should have a national dialogue on the best way forward. Although I lost my cattle to NRA/NRM, with my objective academic mind, I can say that Museveni and his NRM have done well, given the complexities in Uganda society.

Thank you very much for the real knowledge. To implement all that knowledge into action we need to be very courageous.

You people your knowledge regarding espionage isnt different from a bodaboda rider This is espionage rather than ordinary crimes you seem to be discussding Read MOSSAD MI5/6 KGB to update your intellect
Abductions are part of a democratic process
Non of you understand democracy
Nakubari sana
What order or standard are you talking about? Call it abductions, extrajudicial killings, corruption, etc were there long before S.Sudan joined the union. Chaos in SS is a perfect reflection of the wider chaos in the region.
Bushenyi Oye, the girls / women don't disappoint . Thank you for for educating girl child and raising your girls morally upright
Atim is a brilliant lady!
Let's accept, museveni is a very bright man, even when he is 80 yrs, the man can still manage to bulldoze and subdue 45 million Ugandans ,why ? because we're idiots, cowards with no presidential ambitions!
Good show with Atim, keep up
The parochialism of the Terego MP is dumbfounding. I’ve been to both Hergeisha and Mogadishu and the Somali I deal with are extremely sophisticated. Has she ever heard of Dahabshiil? Single handedly created by Oras. Juba has it shortcomings but wholesale condemnation is rather pedestrian
You people have talk, but you forgot that the problem of Uganda today is the army (UPDF and SFC). This army is not neutral, they are a pro-Museveni and his NRM party and government. This is why politicians in Uganda are allowed to talk but they can not go beyond the read line, which is dreaming to remove Museveni and NRM from power. The fact that you sit in a TV studio and speak, is not because there is something good but is a deliberate move to hoodwink Ugandans.
Thanks for the analysis! A bit off-topic, but I wanted to ask: My OKX wallet holds some USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (alarm fetch churn bridge exercise tape speak race clerk couch crater letter). Could you explain how to move them to Binance?
