Long baffles or short let me thx

I just put a set of v twin mfg baffles in my ironhead straight pipes. 1.75x8 fiberglass packed. They knocked in with a little force. Set screws fit good. No problem. Definitely quiet in comparison, but I do miss that deep heavy straight pipe sound.

Who made the pipes?

The sound you hear is due to the fact it’s more than likely idled too low

My experience : excellent ignition Easy to install and a lot nicer than having to deal with points though I've only gotten 5 years max outta each set some guy told me he gets 10 years use .

stock cam? or what cam. also whats length of pipes. sounds like you have some kind of muffler there or a little baffle? , not a lot of back flow when hit the throttle there, sounds tight man love it

this sounds similar to my fat boy with crane single fire ignition, you kinda lose the typical potato sound

Love the revtech . Hands down the best 4 speed I've ever owned . Baker makes a splined main shaft ror about 420 bucks . That I put in mine. No more blowed out clutch hubs or coming lose . Cool bike tho .

Dyna S in an Evo produces a really good shovel-type idle. No voes system and old-school advance weights with the secondary cam with dual fire make for a nice sounding idle and easy kickstart bike.

Sounds like tradition. Just bought one for my 02 Train 95", love the crackle when you get on it and surprisingly quiet at idle. It doesn't perform as well as my RB LSR but pretty close and to be fair it was tuned with the RB. Mikuni 42 as well so not sure how much tighter the tune on my DTT would get because it does do well with the RB tune. Nice scoot ⚡🤘

Does this system need an ignition module or is it just the pickup coil and runs right to spark plug coil...???

Sweet bike man, if ya still have it they make this stuff called Blue Job that’s in a powder form and you work it in with the applicator and water. It will take away all that blueing on your pipe an back to shiny chrome,
