We sailed out of the Brooklyn cruise terminal:) I posted a video the other day on our page if you would like to see it.

@@Seek.Find.Travel thanks for the response. We sailed out of Brooklyn cruise terminal on the Island Princess back in June of this year. I’m based out of San Francisco and unfortunately, Princess tends to send their older ships out of San Francisco. I’ve been seeing a lot of videos on the Enchanted and would love to sail on her someday. Hope you guys are enjoying your cruise. God bless.

@@domtam6571 Yeah we sailed on the Emerald Princess last year and it’s a little older but we still enjoyed it. The Enchanted Princess was a lot better and the newest ship we’ve been on so far. We were surprised by so much extra space on the newer ship as it definitely changed our minds on being on ships that are a little bigger. Thanks for watching

@@barbkugler7568 yes either bring some masking tape or ask the person that cleans your room if you can borrow some :) we put a piece of paper over the light motion detector and taped it down and now have no problems with the light turning on ;)

Painters tape over the sensor. Works well.

So far we haven’t had any issues. We’ve had access to the balcony at any point without restriction.

They consider this obstructive view so it’s actually cheaper than your standard balcony. We really enjoy the fact that it’s on the lido deck as well :)

Very blessed to do virtual academy with our son it allows us to travel and give him life experiences.

@@dianr4210 Hi Dianr4210, if you don’t want to walk a lot you can go and enjoy yourself you just have to be more strategic. There is buses and tours everywhere as well as things to enjoy right off of the ship. We may have been a little extreme because we walked everywhere instead of booking excursions lol The cruise is geared towards 60+ so there is tons of ways to get around. We’re going again this year because we enjoyed it so much :)

@@Seek.Find.Travel That is encouraging! I was getting a bit worried. I went on and looked at the excursions available. Several of them were "EASY", so I think we will be ok. We are doing Mexico on RC Mariner this November to celebrate my retirement, so my best friend and I are gearing up to start doing lots of travel...and crusie will be included!

@@dianr4210 congratulations on retirement! Cruising is definitely the way to go if you want to see a lot and enjoy the journey:) Have you done Alaska yet? Canada & New England seems similar to that to me because of the beautiful outdoors and cooler weather! We also love New England!

@@102810281028nlMuster was updated how most ships have gone with you watching a video and then having them scan you watched it. You will walk to the actual meeting spot as that’s where they scan you watched the video but you do it when you get a chance ( in the first couple hours) I’m really glad this process has been updated. Oh how fun we’ve been looking at last minute deals and debating on going in September also lol I would recommend normal fall weather packing which would be layers. Last year when we went it was perfect jeans and hoodie weather with no crazy cold weather. We loved the weather as it was 55-70 every day. Now if you’re someone like me you can wear shorts and a jacket but that’s not for everyone:) I have seen weather is expecting an early fall this year with a colder winter so of course things could change. But with that all in mind we did our cruise towards the middle of October and had that weather so you should have perfect weather. Now this of course is much more different than Caribbean cruise as you probably won’t be sitting and sun bathing lol But what I liked more about New England is it’s more fun for exploring and having good food! Caribbean is definitely better for sitting and relaxing and enjoying the ship and islands. We loved the New England cruise for exploring and being busy but by the end of the cruise we were worn out as we walked a lot :)

For fall trips like this my wife loved to pack scarfs and sweaters as she could always work with layers if it was hot or cool. I felt we did a lot of walking on this trip so I usually had shorts and a jacket on. Items to pack that are possibly different than a Caribbean cruise *scarf *sweater or jacket ( layers) *good walking shoes *cash preferably small bills because when in Canada they tend to take cash and give you change in Canadian currency. *If you love Lobster then you have to get some wither Boston, Maine etc Depending on how many ports you have on your trip it would be good to get a plan in place. Usually on Caribbean cruises there is a chill vibe but on this cruise from our experience it has more of a fun and run type of vibe. Of course you could always skip a port or have more sea days then ours did but usually these have 4-6 ports to stop at :)
