Great documentary! I’ve loved these Group 5 cars ever since I was a young boy. Have a model car version of the Capri with the white Wurth livery on my desk. Stuff of legends!

Minesca 94 gt in black with a 2004 anniversary model silver and black interior. Seats are two toned door panels are Grey and black and the steering wheel. I got white face gauges and painted around the instrument cluster silver to match. I found out it had an e303 cam in it but incorrect size push rods that weren't opening my valves all the way so I rebuilt my entire top end lol Also put BBK shorty headers on it a summit racing exhaust adjustable tokyo blue struts 32mm sway bars 17 inch Krueger rims that look exactly like yours a msd ignition coil since mine pooped out at 180k miles two piston breaks bigger rotors a 65mm throttle body with an intake ford racing wires and a svo intake made for the svo of 94/95 I'm also eying an svo aluminum head for it and will do an svo build on it from then on. I've owned her for 6 years and drove across America in it from csli to Maryland and back where I met my now gf of 4 years 😅 I called her black Betty but now she's named the love story because of my gf lol Mime has 250k on it and runs like new
@@Boba_fehtt Awesome car and story! I’m having to have my top end redone because it turns out my pushrods are the wrong size too. So I’ve been waiting to bring it to my friends shop so we can take it apart and put the right size pushrods in it.
@@scottsvt9104 your gonna freak when you floor it then, it made a huge difference in mine and thank you lol I just got her back on the road after sitting for two years due to a bad tyranny mount I thought was a busted up trans but it turned out to be a tranny mount that had given way. 40 dollar part and a 5 hour job of taking my exhaust off and pulling the mount then rehanging it after, changed the fluids checked the belts and changed plugs since I could lol she's been a beast ever since and even un tuned I just today beat a 2018 wrx sti pulled a car on him 😅
It actually started life as a zakspeed Capri in the German DTM RACIING series then ford or zakspeed took all the panels off the tubular frame and replaced them with mustang ones then raced it in the USA

@@Chewie374 it’s just the stance and camera angle but they are 17 inch wheels. 20” wheels would look good if the car was lowered even more. I’ve never seen 20” Torque Thrust wheels on an SN95 before. I know the 18” versions look really good to me.

@@paulwortman483 Werk83 makes the Capri and 935. I bought both of those from Livecarmodel.com. The Zakspeed Mustang is a sideways slot car I think I got it on EBay.

@@Venom98Stang It is a Saleen T1 wing. They used them only on the Saleen Mustang race cars. But you could special order the wing for any street Mustang from Saleen. Tiger racing makes it now.

Didn't Dodge have to do something similar with the Charger 500 which had the tunnel back window of the standard Charger flush mounted?
@@HFX1955 Yes they did. They had to change the design because the back window kept getting sucked out at high speeds.

No, it would look great with a shaker hood. Never seen one with a deck wing. It might look good.

Still rocking my 2001 SVT Cobra 🐍… I love it… I was a fox body junky until I got my cobra and I’ll never go back… I don’t miss the fact that they are horrible at handling and when you go over a bump the dash jumps 3” lol 😂

what size wheels you have? I want them on my 96 GT!!
They are 17x9 up front and 17x10.5 in the rear. You can run a 275 up front and 315 in the rear for tires.
@@scottsvt9104 I know its preference but in your opinion, are 18x9 front and 18x10 in the back to big?
@@davidalbo3212 As long as the car is lowered 18’s will look perfect. Those 18x10 will fit better inside the rear wheel well.

Basically a re-shelled Zakspeed Turbo Capri that was raced in Group 5 in Europe. Same chassis, suspension, gearbox and Zakspeed 1.7 litre 4 cylinder that was twin turbocharged and twin inter cooled. The Zakspeed Capri are so legendarily that there are RC cars, scale models, and are in various racing games. There are a few that still race in historic racing series in Europe.
Das Foto bei 22:44 min ist in Köln - Braunsfeld auf der Aachener Straße entstanden. Die Kreuzung im Hintergrund ist rechts der Maarweg, auf der Ecke das Möbelhaus Buch. Linke Seite der Kreuzung war das Lebensmittel -Geschäft Stüssgen, Heute ein Teil der Rwew-Group. Die Ecke kenne ich deshalb so gut, da ich dort aufgewachsen bin, 29 Jahre dort gelebt habe und meine Eltern dort 46 Jahre lang ein Blumengeschäft/Gartenbau hatten. Ein sehr überraschende und sehr, sehr schöne Erinnerung. Vielen herzlichen Dank.

Bought my daughter a new '95 GT convertible for her senior year in high school. She drove it until she got married and had kids. Now I have it and will give it to my granddaughter. Great car, good looks. I also have a '98 GT which I use as a track car. Runs great.
My Mustang was originally bought new for my cousin in his senior year in high school. Then I bought it from him when I graduated high school. Now I’ve just kept it and keep modifying it. They are great cars.
