I would loved to see Daredevil 1975 the movie with Joe canahan as the director and directing this DD movie and I liked to see 1975 vibes to it like Scarpio and taxi driver movie vibes to it. I don't know who would Daredevil in that movie it sounds interesting though

I really wish we gotten Daredevil Live action TV series with Rex Smith and Joh Ryhs Davies as The Kingpin and I would loved it. Wasn't really a fan of how Peter B Parker was portrayed in the inter the spider verse movie and its sequel. (I felt like the movie was made by a Miles Morales fan and not a Spiderman fan and the movie was meant as a response to the Miles Morales haters and people like me that consider him tokenised Spiderman and lazy writing). The Parker character was practically shat on to make Miles shine. He behaves like a Looney Toons character, behaves selfish, non heroic and is looked down on even by Miles who refers to him as hobo Spider-Man in the first spider verse movie and he's sidelined in the sequel and is practically a cameo in the sequel despite the sequel being a movie about multiple spidermen and multiple dimensions🤷. I never bought the actor who plays him as Spiderman or how the character was written, especially in the first movie. Still a fun movie but didn't like how they disrespected my favourite superhero. The Spider-Man I grew up on, knew and loved could go toe to toe with Venom, Carnage, The whole sinister 6 at once, handled himself against the sinister 12, led the x men and had the respect of Tony Stark and Reed Richard's at that point in his superhero career. I'm pretty sure he would have even taken on Mephisto and Black heart. Yeah I Had that comic in the 90s. He definitely took on black heart and won but in the into the spider verse movie he gets knocked out cold by Miles Morales’s Venom blast, (where was his Spidey sense?) and gets completely shat on for the rest of the scene, getting his head slammed through that universe's Peter Parker’s tombstone. His body has gone to shit, he's crying in the shower over his failed marriage in the flash back scene and mooching off a kid to pick up the check in a fast food joint. That was a sour introduction to the character. The only way I could accept the way he was portrayed is if that was a version of Peter we didn't know as opposed to being the version that we associate with Spider-Man. The writers don't only shit on Parker B but OG spider man in general. Forget for a second that Peter’s suit actually fits Miles at the end of the movie who is at least one foot shorter in height, but he desecrates the suit by spray painting it black as opposed to making his own suit as a way of saying he is replacing the old Spiderman. Kind of disrespectful, not just from the character but in my opinion the writer, more so the writer. I get that he wouldn't of had time to create a badass suit from scratch but May could of made him a suit just like she made his web shooters🤷 In the comics Miles got his first proper suit as a gift from Nick Fury, the suits he made himself before that were total ass. The comics gave far more respect to OG Spiderman than the inter the spider verse movie does. It shits on legacy Spider-Man the same way the new Star Wars movies shit on legacy characters like Luke Skywalker. Parker is a hero through and through and I never got that vibe in the Miles Morales centred movie. He just seemed to want to get back to his own universe and didn't care about Mile’s universes problems or that Miles needed help until the last act of the movie when he takes a u turn that comes out of nowhere and he's willing to stay behind and die to shut off the device even though he should be even more motivated to get back to his own universe to mend things with Mary Jane after seeing Miles’s universe version of her. For me Spider Gwen stole the show and was the real hero of the movie. She comes in serious, doesn't get a scratch and out manoeuvres everyone in every fight scene she's in. She presents as the most experienced Spiderman variant from the entire cast. I loved her in the movie but hate how Peter B was portrayed. Take the waiter scene when he's talking to MJ for example. We’re supposed to believe that a Peter that dated Betty Brant, Gwen Stacy, hooked up with Felicia Hardy the Black cat and married MJ wouldn't be able to compose himself around an alternate universe version of MJ. It's not like MJ is dead in his universe. That should have been a dry run for what he would say when he gets back to his own dimension. They threw away what could have been a heartfelt scene for shits and giggles. In the movie he was mostly the comic relief so much so that it looked disjointed whenever he did pull off something spectacular or didn't fail. Kind of like when Mr Bean actually does something that works. Didn't buy him as Miles’s mentor and didn't buy him as Spider-Man. Spider Gwen was more of a mentor to Miles than Peter was. She had faith in him and backed him the entire movie, both movies. Then there was the end fight scene. I couldn't buy Doc Oc referring to Miles as Spiderman which was thrown in just for dramatic effect . She never knew him as Spiderman. She would have just seen him as some kid that was coming into his powers. In that scene she is surprised to see him finally living up to the name. A bit tropey and didn't really make sense for the character. She should of underestimated him and been over confident like when she faced him the second and first time but she seemed concerned about his arrival even though she was already fighting against 5 other spider verse versions of the character who were more experienced as being spiderman/spider woman.🤷 Rant over! Still a good popcorn flick but I disagree with anyone calling it the perfect superhero movie or a masterpiece. That's just people's dopamine, serotonin, endorphins, and oxytocin getting the better of them, kind of like when we saw Rey doing all the spectacular things she did over the 3 Star Wars sequels that didn't make sense within the movie's own lore. Those movies weren't master pieces either.🙂 Whilst I enjoyed the spider verse movies for what they were they didn't change my opinion of the character. The director failed in that regard. Miles is still tokenised Spider-Man as far as I'm concerned. The movies didn't make me like him anymore or like him at all for that matter. He still represents lazy writing and everything that's wrong with Marvel today. All the pretty special effects and emotional manipulative music score they offer up in the final movie won't change that for me.

Ike Perlmutter (and to a lesser extent Kevin Feige) should’ve just let Edward Norton do what he wanted with the Incredible Hulk. It sure would’ve been far better than what Taika Waititi and [insert NPCs who wrote “She-Hulk”] ended up doing with him…and that’s a FACT! I think they went with Mark Ruffalo and his milquetoast non-troversial self after settling on recasting because he didn’t really seem to know nor care about the character outside of a paycheck. If Feige (after Perlmutter’s ouster) wanted to REALLY shake things up…he would’ve either brought back Edward Norton OR did something that people would scoff at until they saw the potential in action: bring back Eric Bana + Jennifer Connelly + Sam Elliot as Bruce Banner & Betty Ross/Thunderbolt Ross from Ang Lee’s Hulk. Not only did it definitely deserve a sequel but it also is the single BEST adaptation of any Hulk comic series TO DATE! Don’t @ Me
