Love this video. To be honest, I stumbled upon it, noticed you guys looked young, and thought it was going to be BS. Lots of great knowledge. Dad was a Porsche mechanic in the 70s, later had a 72E, I've had a 79SC, 964C2, and currently buying a 69E. Excited to have a MFI car of my own. Followed dad's footsteps and have been working in an independent Porsche shop that mainly does air cooled. Come home smelling like oil daily, best cologne ever (regardless of my gf opinion). Cant get enough of these cars. Keep it up.
Thank you for this history lesson this is your new subscriber on the West Coast Los Angeles and yes I am a Porsche owner. But I must check out the rest of your videos
Where is that car today
The Widowmaker😎
Pretty beauty
Great video thanks! PS: Thick Durand mirror was introduced in 1968; engine grill is bolted together until beginning of 68.
Can I know background music??
Awesome 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾💯😎
Is this and the blue one both sold? I’m in market for a lightweight hotrod
What was wiring harness co ?
Do the pre-1976 Porsche suffer rust issues as a result of the non-galvanized steel used?
its it for sale
Best Porsche ever made
I wish that it were mine. I love it.
une beauté !!!
The early air cooled 70s classic 911s with mechanical fuel injection, had a much more robust engine "song" , preferable over the newer higher output, "can't see em' " engines.
In order to “like” the video with a full experience please inform the name of the music used as the soundtrack.
Or perhaps signal Orange? The color of my 1970 911T targa
Where’s the content?
Very interesting talk. Hard to imagine that anybody at Porsche would think that retiring the 911 would be a good idea. The one thing that might improve this would have been to cutaway to show items that are mentioned in the video. Such as particular models of cars, items like 'cookie cutter wheels', etc. It would help us understand just what was being discussed. You did it for the '72 oil filler but not for much else. Just my 2 cents. Great video! Thanks.
Beautiful car. I’d love to find one like it.
Beautiful Creature..... Is it available for Sale ?
I lost one minute of my life today
Targa....BFD
I'm currently restoring 356b im trying to get the oslo blue paint code
Great presentation fellas. I am in my mid 60's, have worked on my various Porches since the 70's and currently have for the past 20 years a wide body 1979 that constantly evolves. But I enjoy watching 30 somethings having a good give n take conversation comparing back and forth what they have either read about, were told or seen somewhere on pelican parts what is what ... and that is how one learns. It is entertaining though because the only difference when Porsche wrench guys my age get together we no longer feel the need to express back n forth in detail showing off what we think we know. Instead we realize that the other guy already knows what's- what so we talk about how to get a better buy on tires or polish and leave it at that.
Best looking car ever...
Fuck yeah...
Beautiful car indeed ☑️
Beautiful. I had a 69 912 with the same colour. Tangerine is the US name. Blood Orange is the real name...
Oslo blue was from 62 and 63 in the 356B
I had a 1973 Porsche 911T in Silver.
Thx for sharing. What a gem
Very nice information 👍 thank you. I have a 1970 911T targa and I wonder what was the color of underside of the car originally? Are they black or body color?
1st !
So how is she coming?
