Rode Video Micro Review Best Microphone for a SMART PHONE?

Is the Rode Video Micro best microphone for your phone? Today i'm putting the Rode Video Microphone in front of a fan to see if it sounds better than the MOVO VXR 10. We are also looking to see if you can hear the difference with the microphone and without the microphone when we are in front of a fan. We are trying to mimic heavy wind conditions. Word of advice for beginners. Practice in the GRASS. Go to an open flat field or football field. That is where I learned. Relatively safe for falling. Start there then take it to the streets (sidewalk).
@@bruceleroy5585 I would agree but it’s important to remember that the grass is moist and your tire will keep spinning. There’s no traction. Keep in mind
Hello, I bought this vacuum cleaner and I think it has a defect. I want to know if it's a defect or if it's normal. The vacuum blows air from the left side through one of the latches The left latch, not from the back where it works as a blower. its that a defect or its normal?
@@CACIQUEHGC I don’t think it’s normal. You may have a defective o ring that doesn’t seal. Maybe try opening and closing it and make sure it’s correctly closed all the way. Sometimes that happens.
@@PedroHernandez-iz8ef Cuando usas tu aspiradora no se siente nada de aire fuera de la manguera trasera?
Ever try turning off simple stop? I'm trying to learn the heel lift stop method. Much more difficult than simple stop, but so much more fun to be able to go in either direction.
@@jngai I have not tried it yet. Im thinking of doing it because that would be fun to try. 🥴😬
Good timing. The pint s firmware will be hitting the pint x here any day now. 20mph max speed & custom shaping.
unfortunate you bought one mere months before the pint s announcement 😭
@@monandlon1 🫤dang…I should have waited…it’s still fun though
It was cool to see the real learning process in your last video too, I’ve been thinking about getting one but I’m an older guy and don’t want to crash hard so I’m not looking to go super fast, just want something fun and that seems to be exactly what you are using it for and loving it. Nice videos and I hope you keep enjoying your onewheel!
@@thefury4424 thank you. Glad you enjoyed the video and hopefully you get to ride one. Goodluck and be careful.
The hoe's are always in the last place you'd think ... lmao
I’ve been riding about the same amount of time now. Pushback is not a fun experience and the pint x nose dive point is about 17.2 mph. Luckily I out ran the fall, but had a bruised heel for a week. Dialed things back now and carve a lot more than going for speed.
@@Fulltimedad90 that sounds about what I’m trying to do. Carve more and less speed
thinking of getting this or a fast scooter. i want both lol
Cool
Love the pint, hope to see you one day on a onewheel gt or a onewheel xr!
@@Charlie-vb4sn thanks! I’m hoping to upgrade too! 👍
Cool video. Lovely sidewalks and roads.
@@mgkeoh thank you.
I recently purchased a pint x. The foot fatigue got to be noticeable fairly fast (im older and overweight). I found the craft and ride Kust Nug footpad helped a lot. My back foot stays better a lot longer. I had hoped getting a larger front pad would help that foot, but bc of the sensor i dont think it can be squishy so while it helps a bit, its nothing compared to the Kush.
@@hedgedknight thanks for the information. I Didn’t know they made additional footpads.
For hitting big bumps, or the type of angled small curb you fell on, you should be "de-weighting" the board. It's an very important and useful technique for Onewheel in general.
@@patthecat1800 could you show me and explain please?
@@PedroHernandez-iz8ef Sure, it's basically jumping up without leaving the board to take weight off of it. Think of jumping a little on a scale without losing contact with it. you would watch the weight drop down to 30 lbs for a brief moment. That's de-weighting. when riding, you deweight, loosen your ankles, and let the board run over something rough and do it's thing without all your weight holding it back as much. It's used for rocks/roots on trails, broken pavement, debris, and on things. It's also used in tricks like 180 reverts, drops, curb nudges, and others. just practice "getting light" on the board next time you go over rough patch. You will feel the difference. It will let you go over way more intense stuff, and it's easier on the knees too.
@@patthecat1800 thanks for the information

I have been riding my Pint X for almost a year now. I am ready for a bigger faster board.
@@gallaway6 I’m not there yet but I’m sure I will be 👍
I been looking at these. I ride hyper scooters up to 45mph, which is crazy fast.. but with a onewheel 25mph is just as crazy it seems. Seems like it will take months to get expert level on these. Keep ‘em coming thx for uploading 🎉
Thanks man. Yeah it’s definitely fast for being one wheel. Hopefully you get to try one out. 👍

Did your model came with 1 or 2 stright extensions? o got one today and the manual states it has 2 straight pieces, yet there was only one in the box
Only one.
The European version of the Beast has wheels, automatic cable winding and hepa filter, it is rated at 1500w. Unfortunately it does not come with the large flat suction head, but there are similar ones to buy.
Does that model also have better locking mechnism?
@@RomboutVersluijs Locking mechanism for what?
@@dejedejsson for the top lid
I don't know, I have lent my machine to a friend who has four cars to clean and it would still be difficult to determine any difference as I would only have to compare with pictures of the US unit. The lock mechanism is not something that I have thought of or that has bothered me!
I'm confused about the filter it has. It looks like the filter will be definitely wet after such a thing. Does it have issues drying after?
Only use the hard filter for dust. For water you must remove the filter and add the black mesh sleeve.
Lil detailint tip. On tough stains like oil blood etc, i used fast orange hand cleaner on my customers cars wet the spot, and put a lil glob of it on there rub it in, drill brush it out. Its the only thing I use, combined with steam blasting it I can make the worst vehicle look new
Did you put the wet cover for the filter on?
You remove the air filter and just add the wet cover.
I like your review thanks 😊
Thank you
Hey there I recently purchased one and they are great. My only problem is when I use the wet vac my vacuum shoots water through the back blower and around the lock clips. Do you have any tips? I have the black filter on all the way up and the black ball is in as well. TIA
How much water are you using? I haven’t ran into that problem, my sure it’s closed all the way
Mine died in less than two years. Vacmaster does not honor the 5 year warranty and wouldn't replace the unit. Their stuff is junk...their stuff is junk. There are better options available...avoid buying products from this company.

All the sizes are on clearance at lowes right now. Picked up the 12qt 5.5HP for $37. If you need another one good luck hunting.
I wish I read this sooner lol
So now since you didn’t extract that detergent mix with water it’s gonna get crusty when the fabric drys it’s not gonna feel like it should. Kinda the half ass way. Buy a cheap bissell
Ok thank you for the negative comment. 👍 again it’s a vacuum review and not a tutorial review.
Does anyone else’s leak from the blower port?
