For the 75 gallon,I suggest adding a pair of some small oscars.maybe an tiger and a red fire Oscar would bring colour and brightness.

I just added an airstone into the sponge filter. Throwing it out there if you enjoy trying hacks out. Its a super awesome room. A cheap upgrade would be adding house plants (riparium) plants. Shoot all you would need is pothos, or philodendron species. Might grow outdoors in your area. Wishing your business success.

Never buy is not the solution… have some knowledge about the fish and tank mates buddy…I have a 2 foot one with red tails of similar size … they are doing well since 3 inches!

I see you have a largemouth bass too. They’re interesting to watch, and they are FAST. The one I have, who I call Meathead, could swim from one side of the tank to the other to eat a feeder fish in around 1 second. It’s his is when he was still living in a 55 gallon. The part that I like better is that the feeders don’t know what hit them. I just watched a video of a guy feeder a large catfish to 9 piranhas and it hard to watch. This is much less brutal. The fish are so much smaller they don’t feel anything and are in the fish’s stomach in less than a second. A lot of times I go down to the beach at night and catch shiners, crawfish, and small carp, white perch, suckers, and crucian goldfish.
