+Ainslie Greer Greetings Ainslie! In my opinion, growing hydro, or water culture, is a bit more involved than traditional soil culture. You will need to be more precise when growing in a hydro garden. Hydro is much less forgiving than soil gardens. What I mean by less forgiving is that if a "mistake" is made in hydro, the plants will be negatively affected immediately, as opposed to soil gardens react at a slower rate, giving you time to try to correct the "mistake". I always suggest to my students to get used to soil gardens first. Once soil gardening makes sense then move on to the more complicated hydro gardens. I'd be happy to help if you have more questions. Please feel free to ask questions and I'll do my best to simplify the process and help keep gardening fun! Good luck and thanks for watching! Take care & grow well. -M@

Awesome .. I like how you don't favor one over the other , and market to both system ! You're right every system has their pros and cons, there is no PERFECT system out there.

+oakland002 Hey Oakland, thanks for watching! In my experience, I've used one system for, let's say, Project A with success and then used the same system on Project B and have had less success. Its hard to say with confidence that the system was to blame because there are many variables that contribute to a crops success. The tricky parts is finding out the way YOU like to grow and find out what your specific crop needs and choose a system that makes sense to the both of you. Thanks for the support!! Take care & grow well! -M@

You probably can build the garden which does not require weeding, tilling or cultivating, the spreading of fertilizer or compost, with no watering or irrigating; all when your plants yield up to 10 times the amount of vegetables than plants from a dirt garden.
