I too skipped Burnice. I was so sure Lighter was made for Miyabi but it’s a bit more complicated. Honestly Lighter can work with Miyabi but the problem is you essentially really want Burnice… like the only other option that can work is Piper, Lighter, Miyabi and that pales in comparison. I’m lowkey regretting skipping Burnice knowing this info now, as Lighter is my favorite character so I was hoping to pair him up with Miyabi but it’s better to stick him elsewhere for the time being. Anyway if you care about “Meta” and making Miyabi stronger, then at this time Yanagi is the best choice given what we know. As you said you don’t have Burnice, which I theorize is her next best teammate alongside Lighter. Final thing I wanna say is, don’t get too attached to this kit as it’s almost certainly going to get changed/nerfed before release. Things can drastically change by then, so the smartest decision is to wait before pulling if you’re not sure.

@@mariobalaguer3328 lol yeah I didn’t want to pull her because the giant cartoon boobs are ridiculous. But, if she is BiS for Miyabi then I will play her. Crossing my fingers that she and Miyabi will be great together and that a third unit will pull them together. Never any regrets!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just skip Yanagi ang Lighter. Pull for Miyabi M2R1 and play her with mono ice team (Lycaon,Soukaku) while waiting for Burnice rerun.

@@x3AnimeFanXD correct. Lighter kinda feels like that ice bit got added just for Miyabi. He only works well for now with that set up. We don't have any other really good fire dps at present and for buffing ice on it own he is not the best. Kinda smells like that was on purpose by Hoyo.

@@RenjiX24 the synergy is there yes but he definitely benefits Ellen more than anyone right now. Lighter absolutely is designed around a traditional Crit DPS than anomaly. Yes, I know Miyabi has some crit in her kit and wants to build it but I wouldn’t say it’s a perfect situation. Keep in mind Lighter wants his additional ability unlocked which can only be unlocked when he has 1 other person that is an Attack unit or a member of his faction which Miyabi is neither… which means you HAVE to run Burnice or Piper (Piper is the obviously the worst option here)

Yes this team will work. It will probably be Miyabi’s least powerful “viable” team, but all additional Abilites will be unlocked for all characters so they’ll be doing the best they can do in the situation.

Especially if you already have burnice, I think the Yanagi upgrade will be stronger than any w engine upgrade.

It doesn’t matter because the frostburn - shatter effect needs the enemy to be affected by an atribute anomaly to be refreshed and let Miyabi use her enhanced basic. This makes Yanagi need to do her entire string combo with EX + basic attacks (as in her actual DPS style), because her anomaly buildup against bosses is not the best. This also makes burnice super viable and even potentially better because: 1. You don’t need to worry about messing rotations, and can play Miyabi mainly on field - which means more energy for her special and better anomaly buildup on frost; 2. Burnice anomaly application with afterburn + EX has a faster rotation and buildup than Yanagi’s EX + Basics; 3. With the current kit, Miyabi actually just needs one disorder per rotation in order to maximize her combo; 4. Burnice opens up the option to run Lighter as a stun + support agent, which will provide more damage to both her and Miyabi, and a better stun uptime + buffs than Caesar or any other support.

Yanagi's polarity disorder doesn't remove frostburn, you'll get the 3 miyabi stacks from polarity but you'll need to proc an actual disorder with yanagi to clear frostburn. Or wait 20 seconds. Burnice is simply better and faster at applying anomaly thus better than yanagi for Miyabi.

I would prioritize pulling lighter if you have burnice, the buffs that lighter gives as a stunner and fire/ice buffer is beyond sinergystic with both miyabi and burnice. Also the stun window seems to be more valuable rn with the tower update, since you have 10 minutes and no other time limits you need to focus on do a good run instead of a fast one, and stunners are suited for that role (especially lighter which seems to have a low field time)

@@marcoarenci2126i think you also need to think about the dmg output yanagi provides. Miyabi has an innate downtime where she wants someone to fill where she physically can’t do dmg due to the loss of her crit scaling and also where she buffs someone else’s build up rate. Yanagi fills this time perfectly and will offer a very large amount of front loaded dmg equivalent to a whole separate dps while not only giving quick stacks to miyabi but also buffing disorder dmg by 250% which alot of ppl dont talk about for some reason. Disorder also stuns at a relatively ok speed making a need for a dedicated stunner not as necessary imo

@@darko6115 to me the DMG coming from yanagi it's a plus not really needed. If you play perfect rotations with perfect builds and stuff, miyabi + yanagi + burnice surely outperformes miyabi lighter burnice in terms of DMG and clear time, but since the game meta is shifting towards simply killing without getting killed I prefer a more safe playstyle with lower DMG output

You underestimate how much dmg first yanagi does since she is currently the best dps in the game which is crazy since she can get her dmg output done in like 2s and also she buffs disorder dmg significantly. Its having two whole dps vs having one with also a massive buffs to disorder so the dmg output will drop off significantly. Also you dont necessarily need burnice, you can put ceaser there who is likely way better in that team due to her low feild time and it will be safer than lighter with small stun capability. I dont think survivability over dmg is valid here when u can get more dmg and more survivability

@@darko6115 again, you don't need that DMG in the current state of the game, hence why I would prefer a stunner to focus on miyabis personal DMG as well as simplicity of the gameplay. By simplicity I just mean it's easier to play with a stunned enemy rather than a moving one. I know disorder can stun, but that's not nearly as good as a dedicated stunner, especially if that stunner makes it up by buffing elemental DMG of both the other characters in the team

I can see this meaning an increase to characters sharing field time, which would make anomaly teams shine even more. Traditional stun teams being power crept, will lead old players who didn't need to pull as much on the anomalies to either spend on reruns or new meta teams. So this way every1 keeps spending.

@@Vongolia yeah, but both soukaku and lucy has small field time, so their decibel generation are also small. Therefore their ults while wont be as rare, is still rarer than their dps

To be fair, Burnice’s core passive also levels up her energy regen and I assume her sig weapon also gave some energy regen

@@Strelitzie You dont really need to pull anything but Yanagi will definitely be a good teammate (especially if her special polarity disorder counts as normal disorder which I think it does)

Like the other fella said you don’t HAVE to pull for anyone… if you really want Lighter and Miyabi to work and don’t have Burnice then your only other option is Piper. It won’t be the best but it will be more than fine at the end of the day… I just personally don’t like playing Piper without a shield, like Caesar, since spinning without one is pain 💀

There's no such thing as being careful on who to use the ultimate with. The ones that contributes to damage the most is the one that's gonna use it. There's not much nuance, if not any.

ehh to be honest it just ruins the design of the characters and it takes all the thought out of it, there is not a single team where you pick who to ult with zhu yuan team? ult with her every single time or you are 100% just throwing the ult in the trash with either nicole or qingyi. jane team? use her ult or again you are throwing decibels in the trash with seth or lucy or anyone else any disorder team with burnice on it? user her ult or again you have wasted the ult. Same for ellen team use it on her or you have just wasted your decibels. It takes the fun out of it and honestly the time put into basically every single support and defense characters ult is wasted, because they are so much weaker then an attack, or anomaly ult, you would never use them unless you are memeing the time and animations will not longer be a waste of time lol.

If it becomes like genshin where you the living shit out of everything, yea it will become boring.... But I don't think zzz fundamentally works that way

I would think about it. They both spend a lot of time on the field.

She just needs one disorder per rotation to maximize her stacks, and frostburn needs an actual anomaly to trigger before it lets her do her enhanced basics again. This means yanagi needs to be able to enter on field and build shock as fast as possible, but her application is not the fastest and needs field time against bosses. This makes burnice optimal because not only her buildup with afterburn + ex is faster than Yanagi’s, she also meets the one disorder per rotation requirement. Also, she opens up Ligther as a third slot, which will be a better buffer for Miyabi than any of our current supports, even Caesar.
