You... I read @soulmun ho's comment and... he's right. This version of Broly is more about justice and defending those who wronged loved ones or other people. His whole beginning up til and maybe pass this point proves he isn't filled with evil, wicked bloodlust and hatred. He didn't have that entire race along with Frieza to turn him into that. And Paragu's hatred waned over time until he was rescued. I am only commenting to say again... Broly likes Goku. What Goku said to him did something for him. He is truly Saiyan, and he utterly loved cutting loose and fighting them... just take a look at his face @15:13 - he's smirking!?! The second of 2 he gave us/Goku. The first is when Goku spoke kind words to him. Broly paused... and just before going back into his power, I think Broly changed course on getting revenge... though halfhearted and chose to fight Goku just for fun. I can't say that about Vegeta... his very presence and all is triggering in every way.

The funniest part about Frieza being beaten to a pulp for over an hour while Goku & Vegeta learned the fusion dance is the fact that Frieza isnt even mad. He acknowledges the fact that Broly has the far more potential to become more powerful and hes dreaming of weaponizing him.

I know he looks like a kid but Goku is 15 here. Saiyan's (including half breeds) actually stay short for longer then normal but then actually just have one massive growth spurt somewhere between 15 and 18.
