This is Lorraine from Corning New York you say it's hard for you decluttering because you can't really decide on what to get rid of but you seem to be doing a wonderful job in the video your fast thinking you're doing it congratulations on decluttering it's not hard for me to declutter it was very easy I had fast thinking no no no no no no no no no no no no no don't want don't want don't want get rid of get rid of was all I said very little I said keep one my husband is proud of me and I'm proud of him for helping me declutter I'm a mental health patient for years I was on all the wrong meds the last time I was in the psych ward was 2014 now I'm on all the right meds so now I'm getting out of bed and doing things with my husband and tending to my house and my cats

This is Lorraine from Corning New York I love your video I'm watching it today in December 2024 thank you for the video you motivated me to declutter my home and that's what I'm doing you have such beautiful stuff my husband is a shopaholic and he always brings things home we don't need and I don't want but lately he's been doing very very good at not shopping and bringing things home we don't need and want it's hard for him but he's managing very well I didn't get mad at him I didn't yell at him I just kindly sat him down and had a heart-to-heart an hour talk with him about it and he agreed I have three boxes of get rid of stuff that I put on the curb and they were all gone I have more stuff to go we don't have a salvation army here in Corning to donate things anymore so on the carpet goes for free but don't go goes in the garbage

My kiddos are 3 1/2 and 19 months , plus we try to be minimalish, so they only get a few gifts. Usually a bigger gift from us, one from their sibling, and stocking stuffers. We try not to worry about having equal amounts of items but rather being intentional about their interests. Like my younger one likes building so she is getting magnetic blocks where my older daughter loves books and baking so she is getting mini cooking tools. Plus we also try to do one big gift that’s for them to share like a princess tent! I’m sure the dynamic will change as they get older.

Hilarious obviously we need to keep the giant beach balls lol

Their room looks amazing. I have 3 boys aged 21-18-17……I’ve learnt…shoes off at the front door, minimal clothing and 2 backpacks each….or else craziness reigns supreme. Their rooms are also quite minimal but they are decorated how they love them.

My main artificial tree is 21 years old and still looks amazing. Not prelit of course. I like to change things up but I also have 3 trees here in Australia. That nativity is just incredible ❤

Looks great! I am still using an artificial tree I got 23 years ago. It was prelit but I cut the broken lights off of it years ago. I think it still looks good. I have another smaller artificial tree I will be putting in my craft room. And some years we get a fresh tree for the living room.

Wow! You decorate and entertain ALOT! I’d personally not remember that I owned all that stuff let alone be able to use it when that season comes along. The boys may find it easier if you removed the closet doors (store them in the furnace room) it looks like the little pull handle on the bifold door isn’t holding up. You know what you like so do you! ❤ Thanks for sharing.
