I did the Camino twice , alone, and yes;sometime I splurge by taking a single room. But the cost you detailed are huge. Of course I always carried my backpack abd with flying from Italy and the train I did spent less than 2000euros and the first time I did it in 45 days, the 2nd time I took buses to cross the large town to avoid the suburbs. One of the purpose of the camino is frugality and it is a bit lesson. I did it when I was 68 and 69 year old.

Thanks for the detailed information on cost. I find your cost to be right in line with others have said of 2023/2024 of 50 euro a day per person. I think your total sounds high as it was 59 days for 2 people.

I'm impressed that you take a hair straightener, make up and jewellery when you travel! I don't even take a comb! I take a hat.😂 I never wear make-up and jewellery so it wouldn't occur to me to take any. Moisturiser/sunblock, deodorant, toothpaste & brush, soap, nail clippers, razor's and tweezers is about it.

I went on a 9 day cruise with them! Gotta say, they can change their food a bit! Everyday the same food for 9 days was a bit disappointing 😩

Great idea to do an UNpacking video! I’d love to see a quick follow-up video where you show what you would probably not take next time, and what you would likely add that you did not take last time, and why. My guess is that you would reduce the amount and variety of clothing to just enough for one week, and eliminate any other stuff that you did not end up actually using much, but every traveler has their own feelings about what they need to bring with them. I’m curious to see what changes you’d like to make.

Nice video, beautiful apartment complex. I would like to make a short stay here in the near future. Wonder if there is a direct walking short cut from Princess Cove R&F to the old town (e.g Hiap Joo Banana Cake, etc). What people normally do is walk from Princess Cove R&F to City Square (using the link bridge), then walk to Hiap Joo from City Square. This is a very long route. I am sure there is a more direct walk to Hiap Joo from Princess Cove R&F. Anyone can advise? Thanks

R&F Princes Cove is built on reclaimed land. I will avoid this place. The mall is always empty.

Did you look at other aread in JB? i.e. Danga bay, Puteri harbour etc? All things being equal I will be staying in JB for a year or two in about 12months time and can't make my mind up. R&F PC seems practical from travel point of view. i.e. crossing to SGP and also there is a bus that goes from CIQ to KL and soon the double track train line. But besides from that I am leaning towards Danga bay side....
